Very bad experience

Before the check in day, the receptionist text me they can provide airport tranfer between hotel. One way transfer is €50 . Normally , it costs around .€30. Because I arrive Istanbul in morning 6:00 a.m. and I can arrive hotel on 8;00 am. For early Check in, it asks me for €50 . I dont accept thr offer and go for sightseeing. After i get the room on2:00pm, i want to take rest and sleep. Unfortunately, there is construction work nearby and it is very noisy. i can't take a rest and sleep in the hotel. It is very bad. The receptionist just says the noise will end on 5:00pm😡. Also, the room is very hot. The air-conditioner not functioning well. Then, i went out for sightseeing again and come back hotel at night. On around 21:30, the receptionist call my room and ask me to change the room from ground floor to 2nd floor. The reason is there is water leakage in the ground floor. Conclusion: DON'T BOOK THIS HOTEL

We had a very pleasant one-week stay at Saba Sultan Hotel in March. The room and all areas were clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable. The location was very convenient for exploring the area. We would also like to highlight the receptionist, Ismail, who was very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with any questions or requests. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend Saba Sultan Hotel.

Excellent déjeuner et très bien situé. Nous avons utilisé le service de transport de l'aéroport vers l'hotel qui a été très bien organisé. La salle de bain est petite et le cordon de douche était mal ajusté. Peu de rangement de façon générale dans la chambre. Malgré tout, très bon rapport qualité prix.

I’m not usually someone who writes reviews—or even remembers to—but after our trip last November, I realized I had put this off for far too long because Hotel Saba truly deserves the recognition. From the very beginning, the experience was exceptional. Prior to our arrival, the staff kindly offered a shuttle service to pick my mom and me up after we landed past 1am, which immediately put us at ease. When we arrived, we were greeted with such genuine warmth. Ismail and Omar, in particular, were outstanding—both incredibly kind, professional, and always going the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable. Their hospitality made a lasting impression on us. The rooms were charming, spotless, and well-maintained—even my mom, who is extremely particular about cleanliness, was impressed. The beds were also very comfortable. Breakfast each morning was another highlight, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from. And the location was simply perfect—convenient and ideal for exploring. Overall, my mom and I were so happy with our stay that we still find ourselves talking about this charming hotel and its wonderful staff. We absolutely recommend Hotel Saba, and a special thank you again to Ismail and Omar for making our stay so memorable.

Location wise this place is hard to beat. It's withing 15min walk from many of the major attractions. Bunch of shops and restaurants all around. The place was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was pretty basic, but it was plenty good to get some food and get ready to leave for the day.

El personal es muy atento, nos ayudaron con recomendaciones. La habitación muy limpia. El desayuno es completo y variado. Tiene una excelente ubicación, está cerca de todo y a pocos pasos. Nos hicieron favor de guardar nuestras maletas mientras salía nuestro vuelo. Definitivamente lo recomiendo, yo volvería a hospedarme sin duda.

We had a lovely stay here. We booked for the experience of "old school charm" and that's definitely what we got. Clean, warm and welcoming, the staff were so helpful. Our room with a view of the Bosphorus was all that we needed, firm bed which we like and so quiet we slept great. Breakfast was plentiful, enough to get you going for the day. The location is surrounded with shops and restaurants and is perfect for visiting the sites in Sultanahmet area but maybe a bit far from other areas. Although the transit is not far at all we did manage to walk to absolutely everything we wanted to see in all areas of Istanbul. If you're looking for new, modern and huge hearty breakfast this is not the place, but if you're looking for a hot shower and a quiet, clean place to rest up after a long days adventure, this is it.

Zentrale Lage, klein aber fein Hotel mit netter Personal, Zimmer größe super aber die Kleinigkeiten machen den Unterschied und da gibt Luft nach oben. Kissen muss gewechselt werden, 4 Tischen braucht kein Mensch aber ein tick großer Kleiderschrank doch, ob Elektro und Lampen funktionieren muss kontrolliert werden bevor die Gäste kommen. Frühstück war für mich genügend und das Personal super nett, ich würde Dort wieder buchen und kann nur für jede empfehlen, ist alles zum Fuß zu erreichen

We had a nice stay here, although the the location is great for seeing Sultanahmet / Eminonu area it is a bit far from everything else. Saying that though, we have no ailments against our health and we did walk to absolutely everything we wanted to see. As well, the transit is not too far. Tons of restaurants and shops right outside the door. If you're just looking for a quiet place to sleep with a hot shower, this is it. Nothing fancy and outdated but kept tidy and clean. Breakfast was plentiful to get you going in the morning, staff are friendly and welcoming.

Clean room, WiFi was good. Arasta Bazaar is very close. Lot of Turkish dining options. Blue mosque and Hagia Sophia are walkable. Public transport is easily accessible. I found the room a little congested and the furniture dated. The room had clear sea view but the rest of the view wasn’t scenic
