This is a very small property in the middle of Taksim. I decided to book this hotel because of the outstanding reviews it got on Hotels.com. There are about two rooms per floor that are connected by a stairwell and a small elevator. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The breakfast was modest but enough. BUT THE NOISE. My room faced a bar that went until about 2 am, and I wasn't able to sleep at all. I also asked for a late check out, but the hotel couldn't accommodate me. It's a good place, its location is convenient, but not as amazing as the reviews made me think it was.

We really loved our stay at this hotel. Very clean, fantastic staff and great location.(Close to all the shops and restaurants, and only a 10 min walk to the metro) We had a simple but yummy breakfast every morning on the upper level with amazing city views. Room was a good size, lots of closet space, premium tv channels, modern fixtures and amenities. Safe and mini fridge. Daily housekeeping. The only downside is that it can be quite noisy outside, especially on Saturdays. If you sleep light or want a quiet space then this hotel is not for you. Fortunately, it wasn’t an issue for us. We’d go back again for sure.

Functional, noisy at night.

Room was comfy, modern, clean. Staff friendly enough. Tip - book a room facing the city, not the back of the hotel. There are bars and a club making noise until 2am. Breakfast - very limited.

Staff could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was combo of expected foods and interesting fruits; plenty and fresh in rooftop terrace with view thru to blue mosque and aya Sophia. Rooms were much smaller than photos suggest, but comfortable and good showers/towels. Coffee in room is good. We were on first floor street front; LOTS of street noise every night thru till 3-5am. If back again I’d ask for higher floor (there is an elevator) and rear of building

Cozy hotel with some improvements to make

Nice little hotel in good location. Very comfortable beds. The only downside is the nosie coming from the street - to some degree expected given the location but still. Breakfast could have been better.

I really loved Gentle Tom. The staff there are super nice and welcoming. It's a small hotel decorated beautifully with interesting art on the walls and a lovely area for breakfast or sitting in with a view over the old city. I loved my room, so cosy and clean, I just wanted to hang out in there. Just off the Iskital street and minutes away from the many art and craft shops of Galata, the hotel is ideally located. The only downside may be having a street facing window on a Saturday night - people seem to enjoy playing loud music from cars well into the small hours (not a problem otherwise, I barely heard the cars not playing loud music). Despite that, I checked out very reluctantly as I was really enjoying my room. I was very grateful to the team there for sorting me out with an airport transfer - they use a particular taxi driver rather than the VIP cars, which was far more affordable and nicer (the driver stopped quickly to buy water for me, unasked, and then asked if I wanted a coffee too for the drive!) I'd stay there again for sure.

Sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Fremdsprachen nicht unbedingt. Schöne Aussicht von der Dachterrasse auf Topkapi, Hagia Sofia und Sultan Ahmet Moschee über das Golden Horn hinweg. Sehr laut auf der Rückseite des Hotels von einer Kneipe. Hier doch sollen demnächst Dreiglasfenster eingebaut werden. Hotel hervorragend gelegen.50 m von der Istiklal in der Mitte zwischen Metro Shishane und Taksimplatz. Viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Restaurans. Gehabstand zur Tünnel und Galataturm. Unbedingt zu empfehlen.

Small boutique hotel in Beyoglu. It’s very close to some of the nicer parts of the Beyoglu area and less than a minutes walk from the super busy Istiklal street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a small breakfast buffet with the basic options but no room service as of now. The room designs are sleek and since it’s a new hotel everything is in great condition. Maybe the only thing that is a bit of a downside is the actual size of the rooms. We stayed at the larger of the 2 room options which is said to be about 409 square feet but it feels a little smaller than that…so all in all a great option if you are staying in that area !

Alp & Mehmat were extremely nice and available at all hours! My room had a cute sea view and was really lively in terms of colours and textures. Was also quite was spacious. The breakfast itself was great!! I got fresh ammazing eggs!! But did not quite like the long alley that leads to it. I wish they opened at other area’s also like besiktas etc. i had a great time staying here!!

Das Hotel ist neu und sehr sauber. Die Lage ist toll, zentral aber dennoch nicht leicht zu finden, denn der Name des Hotels ist von der Straße aus nicht sichtbar bzw. gar nicht vorhanden. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr nett und hilfsbereit. WLAN war in unserem Zimmer sehr schlecht, hatten an einem Abend sogar überhaupt kein Internet. Mehrmals reklamiert bis der Fehler am nächsten Tag behoben wurde. Das schlimmste war aber, dass wir Deluxe Zimmer mit Balkon und Meerblick gebucht haben. Stattdessen hatten wir Hinterhofatmosphäre. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist definitiv nicht gerechtfertigt!
