"Very good experience. Only negative was that you’re not allowed to take dogs with you to sit at the breakfast restaurant tables. However, you’re allowed to take dogs for with you for breakfast in the area with sofas within the restaurant. Lovely hotel. Friendly staff. Convenient position for the motorway A20. We thought there must be something wrong with this place - it looked fantastic online but it was cheap and we were able to book it quite late. It really was as great as it looked, but only a couple of rooms were booked the night we stayed - in peak season. Why isn't there more demand for this sort of place? The owner's family had owned it for centuries but he was struggling to keep it in business.
