Fantastic stay — service was five-star from start to finish. Friendly staff in particular Jeremy Grimes and housekeeping team , spotless rooms, and prompt help whenever needed. Highly recommend!

Neat apartment with very comfortable beds! Also a nice kitchen with dining table. No 24/7 front desk on site, but just a 5 min drive to the main Islander resort. We were also allowed to make use of all the facilities at the main resort.

We loved our stay at Bayside Villas. We loved the access to both Bayside and Oceanside, the activities were great! Beautiful rooms, grounds! We will definitely return in the future.

The property was beautiful, me and my family enjoyed our stay there. We would definitely stay there again. The pool, the rooms, and the veiws were just amazing. The beds were super comfortable and the veiw from the pool and rooms was amazing. Everything was super clean and neat when we got there. I would recommend to stay at this place if you go to the keys.

We thought the property was located directly across from the Islander. That is on us for not mapping it. The amenities at the Islander where we have stayed numerous time are amazing. The villas do not have washer/driers in unit as advertised. The dishwasher had a broken latch but if you work for it you can get it to run. We had to clean any dish we wanted to use. The linens on the sleeper sofa were dirty. The unit needed to be vacuumed and mopped again. I do understand we were by the beach, so getting all sand may be impossible. We had to buy ice daily because the icemaker no longer worked. It was just very expensive for the expectation of cleanliness.

Blessing in disguise

Property was smaller than what I was picturing with the photos but the villa was great wish the live ring rooms were bigger or maybe arranged differently, the beds were really comfortable and the whole property was quiet and relaxing it was also great that you could still enjoy everything at the main resort and preferred to stay at this location other than the main locstion

The listing is misleading and should be amended immediately. I booked this assuming that this accommodation is in the resort, which it wasn’t. It’s a couple of minutes down the highway, which might be ok for some but we were travelling with a little child so getting him ready for the car etc was already such a hassle that we had to preplan our visits to the resort. The first photo of the listing is literally the resort so you can see the confusion. Secondly, the rooms smelled damp and mouldy. We were immediately alarmed as we didn’t want our baby to be exposed to a possible mould. The listing says ‘brand new’ but we were later told that the place hadn’t been touched up for years since The Islander bought the place. The staff was very kind and moved us to a different unit immediately but we lost a day of our holiday (one of two sunny days while we were there) due to the hassle of packing, moving etc. The second unit was an ‘upgrade’ by the bay but it still smelled musty. All of our clothes stank of mould once I unpacked our luggage back home.

We always stay at the Islander Resort but this time we decided to stay at the Bayside Villages with the family ( Sisters properties, share the amenities ) My honest review; not the same at all! The apartment was not very clean. The walls were dirty, so was the kitchen. We were aware that for the amenities we would have to go to the Islander and we were ok the that. But since the villages dont have basically anything we would have expected to at least be spotless. They are pet friendly, which is a good thing for families bringing their pets. Me and my family will definitely return to the Islander, but not sure if I’ll return to the Bayside Villages.

The villas are lovely, comfortable beds, lots of room and the pool area is great plus access to amenities at the islander hotel is a great bonus, lovely pools and beach area/restaurants. My only negatives were we were in villa 102 and the road noise in the back bedroom was very loud, also the back bedroom needs curtains, it only had a Venetian blind and it was too light with the street lamps outside. Otherwise we loved this place and all the amazing staff who were so friendly.

Great 3-night stay at the Bayside Villas. Used all of the resort amenities at the Oceanside resort. Rented our own golf cart to go back and forth. Saltwater pool at the resort was fantastic. Drinks were fantastic. Food choices weren’t great for our kids, but we used the Villa kitchen for that. Villa may have a minor mold issues downstairs as it smelled a little musty (unit 110). Kitchen was missing coffee maker, pot holders, and cookie sheets. Otherwise decor was beautiful, beds and linens were fantastic, place was very quiet during the week, but busier on the weekend, and we would stay again. Preferred villa 110 had a nice water view from the balcony that we enjoyed.
