Staff was very cooperative and very prompt to provide what I need. The main issue I had during my 5 days stay was a very strong odor in the room and all other three rooms s at lower level. Also most of occupants were Afghani nationals to my surprise. The room had issue with water seapage on one of the wall.

A Good Choice for the Price

Checkin in was quick and staff friendly. Assigned room 101. Bed was very comfortable and main furnishings were adequate. Room had two bathrooms, one with bathtub and one with shower. The one with shower was poorly set up, in that water did not fully drain inside shower instead going under door and cover most of floor outside. No drain in floor outside shower. Only two body towels provided, no hand towels. Previous occupants partially used shampoo and body wash bottles left in shower. Room contains small refrigerator which had KFC box from previous occupant of room. Tabletops and shelves in bathrooms could use a more thorough wipe down. The complimentary breakfast was adequate. Ordered the desi omelette and eggs sunny side up. Both looked the same except for addition of vegetables in the omelette. Tasty otherwise. The hotel is a 15 minute walk to many shops and restaurants, but sits on a quiet sidestreet. Very convenient.

Most important thing was customer service and interaction. Every individual that I engaged with such as Amin, Feroz, Waqar and Irfan, they were respectful, always willing to help, ensuring I am happy. It was very apparent that my satisfaction was their objective. On the day of checkout my ride was going to be late. I talked with Feroz I think (main desk) and he was more than willing to accommodate me for extra couple of hours. I would recommend others who visit Islamabad to stay there!

Lovely Experience & Amazing Staff

The owner is an extremely nice guy and I can’t rate the service of the staff highly enough. We were a family of 6, 2 adults and 4 kids but the management made sure our two rooms were next to each other. Washrooms were clean, bedsheets immaculate. The location in F7 is probably the best for a guest house in Islamabad. Very central: only a few minutes drive from Faisal Masjid; 25 mins from Monal Restaurant, and just a few minutes from Centaurus Mall. Breakfast was just as we wanted it. Thank you Team Gofas Lodge

Gofas Lodge was a great experience in most ways. The staff was very helpful whenever I needed a charger cable they provided me with one. I stayed a day less and they provided me with a refund. The only thing I would say is the shower needs to be fixed it's very slippery but besides that I enjoyed my time here. The breakfast was complimentary the people were very nice to me and my wife and whenever my son came to visit they were very welcoming and allowed him to come into my room at his leisure. I'd stay here again in the future.

More than decent and fair price

Well to begin with staff is friendly and very cooperative. Also property is decent enough to make you feel comfortable and relaxed. I arrived late and requested food they ordered and got me KFC and in the morning I requested local breakfast they sent their employee to get it for me. I would definately recomend this place for short stay.

Nice place mismanaged

Located on one of the most expensive real estate in Islamabad. Furnished with good quality furnishings, and fittings but not matched according to rooms. we were to arrive late at night so informed before hand but room with spare mattress as specified beforehand was not ready , and when provided, it was one of the dirtiest mattress and blanket and staff insisted that that's all they have. Not all the rooms have all the amenities as listed , our room did not have minibar, hairdryer and not even a window. The room had designer beds but not suited for the room as they were very big two single beds very uncomfortable. The washroom had commode with poor flushing system ( we had to flush 6 time to get rid of previous contaminates) , AC was dripping water all night on the bed. Next morning we ordered breakfast which arrived after 2 hours dead cold. at this stage we wanted to cut short our 4 day trip and go back but were promised by a staff member that they will change our room. It took another full day to fulfill their promise. as we shifted to our new room, their staff assured us based on our complains that old room will not be in service any more till fixed. (their assurance lasted only few hours) New room was a lot better, it had a window..., minibar, and folding bed with brand new blankets instead of the dirty mattress they insisted was their best. This room had its own problems but was much better than before so we stayed the remaining two days.

Careful with this place!

Nicely located but otherwise terrible. Unfortunately, while we were staying here a sum of money disappeared from our room. ThIs lodge is also dirty, service is quite poor and breakfast is nothing to write home about.never again!

SurelyI do not recommend this hotel.

At last I could not got warm water from shower. I found some stains from new towel and a lot of mold from cloth which using for iron, Some pen mark from cushion. Firstly hotel stuff said that they have only one cloth for using iron but I claimed. They tried to found another one but they could not do that. So I used towel for using iron. They offered another room but even move to another hotel in next morning why I could not got hot water from shower, nobody help me to move. And They try to told me what is name of person who is using same hotel from Japanese embassy then I check in. Japanese most take care about keeping personal information so I was very surprised. I could not found hunger and want to use iron so I requested these thing and about shower temperature, Look hotel stuff go fed up. I could not sleep such a room well. I should have book another hotel, I really regret still now.
