「Very nice hotel, beautiful grounds clean rooms great staff.The pool was a little chilly but doable.It’s about a half mile walk to the start of the action on Malecon another half mile to the dock where the boat tours depart.There’s a playa bus that runs to the beaches north of town but chose to rent a car on the Malecon just to do the beaches.」

「The balcony facing the sea was the huge bonus for me. That was why I chose Las Gaviotas. As a solo traveler I did not need the large space. The apartment is very large with large balcony also. Perfect for families, or 2 couples as it offers each a bedroom and each their own bath plus kitchen. Location steps to Malecon, restaurants, cafes, grocery. And quiet for sleeping.
