3 weeks at the Cleopatra

The staff are very friendly and very helpful. The hotel is quiet, not on a main street. The hotel is mid point between Ischia Ponte and Ischia Porto. Both are an easy walk. The meals are nice. I would recommend half board. The pool area/pool is very relaxing.

Enjoyed our stay at Hotel Cleopatra, Barbara, Phillipe and Michele couldn't do enough for you, nothing was too much trouble, extremely and helpful. Food was plentiful and tasty at breakfast and evening meals, bathrooms are a little small, however fully functional and the entire hotel is exceptionallly clean. Lovely pool area. Hotel is centrally located to the port/town or castle area.

Un'ottima scelta

Situato in un posto tranquillo ma zona porto raggiungibile in 15min a piedi. Stanze pulite, ordinate e fresche anche d'estate, bella piscina, buona colazione e ristorante con cibo fresco. Tutto il personale è affabile e disponibile.

Do not stay here under any circumstances.

Is not represented accurately. Room was size of a stamp. Did have the twin beds as requested. Room wasn't big enough for twin beds. Was told that they could remake the beds as twins until the morning when I complained. We decided to septarate the beds ourselves. Only to discover that the mattresses were very heavily stained, it was enough to turn your stomach. My partner went to ask about sheets to cover the mattresses. She returned in tears. The extremely rude old man had been rude and aggressive towards her. We left the hotel. I spoke to the man and said we were leaving because of the circumstances. He told us to get out and continued to shout after us as we went down the drive way. I showed my paperwork showing twin beds required, he wasn't interested. On top this incident, the room unacceptably small compared others we've stayed in, extremely dated, no fridge, head would not have stretched across the two beds, walls paperthin. This hotel is an insult to other 3 star listed hotels that we have stayed including on ischia having been before. I could not recommend this hotel to anybody. On top of which reducing my partner to tears when she was polite is unacceptable. We checked out and to find another hotel. I have complained to expedia.

Family run traditional hotel, nothing fancy but good value, clean and nice pool area. Beds a little uncomfortable Owner exceptionally helpful with directions and recommendations

Lugnt ok hotell med pool.

Helt ok hotell med bra frukost och lugnt läge. Gåavstånd till resten av Ischia Porto. Inga restauranger eller servicebutiker i närområdet. Poolen kräver badmössa/keps (går att köpa på hotellet för 2€). Inget för familjer med små barn med spring i benen då klientelet verkar vara där för att ta det lugnt.

Nice Clean hotel, 15 minutes walk to Port.

The hotel Cleopatra is a lovely family business. The hotel is typical Italian style which is perfect. The hotel is very clean. Breakfast is sufficient, but not a huge selection of food choice. Maid service is very good. We stayed at the end of April and the hotel is beginning to get ready for the summer season, the pool was not available. I would stay there again if I visit the beautiful island of ischia

hôtel très agrébale pour séjour repos et détente

Hôtel un tantinet vieillot mais très charmant, calme. La piscine est très agréable, le personnel est absolument charmant, le petit déjeuner sous forme de buffet (pas continental, plutôt italien) est copieux, l'hôtel est proche des plages, des commerces et restaurants d'Ischia port et on peut tout à fait aller à Ischia ponte à pied (15min environ).

Siamo stati mio marito ed io per un lungo week end ospiti di questo albergo, ci siamo sentiti subito a nostro agio, camera pulita, personale perfetto, cibo ottimo. Vorrei ringraziare i proprietari Michele ed Anita che saluto affettuosamente insieme alla figlia Barbara e a Filippo simpaticissimo e professionale. Hôtel très propre, simple et très calme

Les principaux atouts de l'hôtel sont le calme et la propreté. Le wifi n'était pas accessible dans la chambre mais seulement à la réception. Le patron est très aimable et de bon conseil pour visiter l'île.

Lovely spot.

We enjoyed this hotel. It's about 15 minutes walk from the ferry station, or you could take a short taxi ride for about 10 Euro. Our favorite part was the large swimming pool - perfect for relaxing with the family and set among lovely gardens and plants. The hotel serves a very nice breakfast, and has very friendly staff. They helped us rent a car and navigate the bus system, and also gave great recommendations for where to eat [don't miss Aglio, Olio, e Pomodoro in Ischia Ponte] and what to do on the island. The hotel is fairly old, but everything was clean and comfortable. The owner is very friendly and easy going, and wants you to enjoy your stay. When we asked what the check out time was, he answered with the question "What time do you want to check out?" They were very friendly and accommodating. If we are ever lucky enough to return to this beautiful island then we would certainly look to stay at this hotel again.
