A really, really great hotel :-)

Really, really great hotel. Centrally located, super clean with a really helpful staff. The view from the breakfast room (on the 12th floor) is magnificent. There's even a 7-Eleven in the hotel lobby :-)

We stayed at this hotel last year (2024) & were so impressed by the food and the services, especially from Mr Dominic Lai ( Food & Beverage Managet) that we decided to book this hotel again for our trip to Ipoh this year (2025). Unfortunately Mr Lai has left Cititel. We met Mr Albert Chong, the new Food & Beverage Manager. He & his staff ( Rafti & his friends ) were very friendly, attentive & looked after us really well, most importantly the food standard was the same as how we remembered it from the previous year. The buffet breakfast & dinner was the highlight of our trip in Malaysia, the brownie dessert is a must try. Congratulations to Albert & his team for maintaining the high quality & standard. We also like to thank Albert for his time & many enjoyable conversations. We highly recommended this hotel to anyone that wish to stay close to Ipoh Old Town & Ipoh Station. The hotel is very secure as they have a security guard & 24 hours reception at the ground floor. Your room key will only allow you to access your floor. Also, Ipoh New Town is only about 15-20 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel room is modern & reasonable size. The negative comment we want to make is that the walls in the room had blacks stains & we reported it to the reception staff on level 12 multiple times but we don't think they took us seriously.

Excellent stay

Is very nice hotel but the room is very small and the towel was old. The bed is comfortable and breakfast has good variety of choices with good service by the staff. Walking distance to concubine road. Overall is a good stay.

The hotel maintains a very high degree of safety and security standard for their customers. Both the main entrance and the reception counter on the 12/F were respectively posted with a security guard. A 7-11 shop located on the G/F is convenient for purchase of food and sundry items. The variety of food and beverages provided in the breakfast maintained an acceptable quality of taste. But I don’t know why there was a bad smell at the toilet during my stay, On conclusion, the stay in this hotel was value for money.

Great Hotel!

Excellent hotel. The service of this hotel was outstanding. The staff here, go out of their way to help you. The best customer service I've ever received! Special shout out to Rebecca on reception! The room itself was very comfortable and I had a great view of the river! Room amenities were also great! The shower gel smells divine! And the tv includes free movies, which was a nice added bonus.
