Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Rooms were dusty and bathtubs were stained. The dining room area looked like it was under construction. There was no water for one entire morning.

To find a hotel with good facilities so far up north was a challenge, and im very pleased to have stayed here. I understand running such a business is tough and i see them making improvements. Overall it was the staff that made this stay absolutely amazing. Checking is in late, helped with our luggage and offered after hours snacks. Ofcourse they know people travel long distances to get to Inuvik, so they made sure our stay was comfortable. We sure will stay here on our next Arctic trip!

Arctic oven. The never down sunset baked the entire room like 110F, and they don't have air condition.

The worker at check in was friendly and helpful. The facility is in need of upkeep and cleaning. The 1st 2 rooms we tried were very hot with no working air conditioner. The 3rd room was warm but the air conditioner helped a little.

Give them a try

I think people just have to give this place a chance. It has plenty of potential, rooms are big, hallways are wide, it’s pretty clean. I think when you are in Inuvik, you have to adjust your expectations. Staff are super friendly and trying their best with limited resources. It’s really not a bad place to take a snooze.
