"I got a great welcome from the Lady at Reception and check in was easy. The room had everything I needed and nothing I didn't. It was very clean and the room service every day was welcome. I really appreciate the cleaning staff restocking coffee and milk when needed and making the bed. The bed was very comfortable. Good size bathroom and plenty of hot water. The television is overdue for an upgrade. Restaurants are close by and there is a supermarket next door. Parking is a bit of a tight squeeze though grateful to have it by the room. I stayed for 4 nights for my work and I will easily return as it is convenient accommodation and once again thanks to the Cleaning Staff for their great effort! There is a lovely swimming pool and sauna although I didn't use them. Thanks again Manukau Motor Lodge!"

"The only complaint is its not advertised on the outside enough just one small sign that is easily missed ie: no neon lights no signs saying accommodation here of any type or even indicating accommodation is there. I walked past it."

"Traveled 6hours and wanted a hot shower and to settle into bed for an early morning Departure. When we turned up, our room hadn't been vacuumed. We were given a room and had to run the shower for 10mins, for it to get warm. THEN we tried to settle in bed but people were being loud/swearing etc outside the room and a child was running up and down outside our door so we had to request a new room. Thankfully, the staff member gave us another room and we were able to settle in but after travelling so long, waiting 10mins (litterally) for the shower to heat! Very inconvenient."
