"What an amazing property. A real hidden gem. Property was much larger and more spacious than I expected from the listing. Social living areas downstairs were just fabulous and bedroom spaces upstairs were great. A couple of the bedrooms a bit rough round the edges however all bedrooms nice and clean. "Conveniently located for the castle and the centre of town. Bar and restaurant area are excellent although having Reception at the bar seems a little quirky. Useful after having the other half drive you there though. Room was spacious and clean. Parking had to be paid to a third party but the hotel staff were very helpful getting it done. No A/C. The lift only goes to the first floor so if you have mobility concerns, keep that in mind. We were on the second floor with heavy suitcases but the staff were more than happy to take them up and down the stairs for us."
