The property itself is stunning, but what really makes Fort Barwara special is the people and the exceptional level of service. The entire team went above and beyond throughout our stay. Everyone was genuinely warm, attentive and thoughtful, making us feel incredibly well looked after while keeping everything natural and personal. The attention to detail, food, spa, surroundings and overall atmosphere were exceptional. It’s rare to find somewhere that combines such an extraordinary historic property with service that feels so personal. We left with some very special memories and would happily return. One of the best hotel experiences we’ve had in India."

Staff were really helpful and friendly, they booked the safari for me and a taxi from the station to the hotel late at night, and even offered food when I got there. "Spent 2 days here and had a great experience. Excellent food - both breakfast and dinner. Quiet place with basic amenities. The cottage was adequate for a short stay and the staff was friendly. Enjoyed the wild life, mainly monkeys, within the property as well. The only negative point was the internet. The wifi was extremely slow and not much 4G coverage inside the room so wifi was the only option."

And overall just a great experience. Only nine luxurious rooms. View of mountains and Jungle. On top we meet the son of the tiger man who still lives in his fathers house here. A great story🙏♥️"

I stayed here with my parents and sister to celebrate my mother’s 76th birthday, and the property made the occasion feel genuinely special. The quality of food was outstanding, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. The dinner experience stood out with an elegant BBQ setup, live folk music, and traditional dance performances under the open sky, an atmosphere that felt both royal and unforgettable. Even the smallest details reflected luxury, including the fresh, beautifully scented bathroom towels that added to the sense of comfort and care. A perfect blend of heritage, warmth, and refined hospitality. Highly recommended for meaningful celebrations and a truly elevated Ranthambore stay."
