Best Western Plus Hotel Ilulissat

"Although I did not have an opportunity to see any of the hotels in more remote areas, without a doubt, this is the finest hotel in the Ilulissat city center. It's a bit in the expensive side, but worth it. The staff was wonderful, from Malou, the lovely woman who checked me in, to the chef in the restaurant, who sat down with me to figure out what vegetarian dishes he should prepare for me at dinner time. My server the first night, Shakira, was especially kind. My room was spacious, with a heavenly bed and incredible views over the harbour and iceberg fields. And the heated floor in the bathroom made me want to stay forever. The WiFi was fast and reliable. The location in the center of town was perfect - I could walk anywhere, including the Icefjord Center, within minutes. The breakfast was excellent, with many items to choose from and a good amount of vegetarian items. The free shuttle from the ship dock to the hotel upon arrival and the hotel to the airport upon departure was a big bonus. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone."
