"Ideally located in the city centre the hotel offers good value accommodation. The rooms are adequate and beds are comfortable, if a little dated in places but at the price you can’t really complain. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was excellent quality, fresh and plentiful. Great choice of cooked and cold cuts of meat and cheese with a great choice of fresh pastries!"

"Pros Room 5 Junior Double. Good enough size for me as a solo traveller. Shower - hot good pressure. Plenty hot water for a bath. Shampoo / conditioner / bodywash and handwash provided. As were lots of fluffy towels and plenty of loo rolls. Drinks tray - tea / coffee / bottles water. Iron and board / hair dryer / safe / fan / mini fridge and wifi all provided. Bed firm, could be too firm for some. Easy walking access to vaillant Live which Is why I stayed - 5/6 min walk to there and the city centre shops and food places. Breakfast was lovely - served English breakfast with choices - self service for cereals / hot drinks / juices / toast and preserves / yoghurts etc. Bathroom was very clean - sink big enough to fill the kettle!!! Parking a 2 minute walk to a car park, some street parking. Reception quick and easy check in. Directions given to venue on foot - precise. Lady in breakfast room very nice. Cons A little tired - bathroom seems to be redone but not bedrooms - quite a few ingrained marks to the walls and carpets - threadbare in places. Wooden sash windows not great at keeping out noise - even though a second set of sash put inside - could still hear (what some people class as) music until after midnight :). Not a luxury hotel as advertised,better than adequate and could be luxury if rooms refurbished a little If I go to another concert at the same value I will rebook. I paid £54 for one night with breakfast just for me. Premier Inn was £103 - no breakfast."

"Good size clean room, comfortable bed and chairs, an old property with damp coming through ceiling of bay window but the building is being renovated. Very good location close to all amenities. Overall very good value for the money!"

"Lovely hotel, fantastic location. Well decorated, comfy twin room but disappointingly, in the annex. Not in the main hotel. IMO, on the expensive side. £500 2 x nights, especially as it was 'room only'. Also, hardly any parking on site. Forced to park in public car park.My fault. Should have paid more attention when booking."
