Great place to stay especially for the price. The breakfast was great and offered a lot of options. Staff were very friendly and the shuttle bus to nishi-funabushi station was very convenient!!

a bit far from rail station but hotel provides free shuttle every 15 minutes (except 10:30-15:00). staff are all polite and helpful (eg mr yoshimoto at front desk). breakfast was good with variety and nice environment at sky lounge.

The room was very nice and big enough for 3 of us. The mattresses are very hard. The pillows are the buckwheat pillows so we're not the most comfortable either. We did not get restful sleep. The bathroom was clean and we could take a bath after walking more then 12 miles so that was great. Very close to 7eleven and the train.

Even though my Japanese skills are very poor, the staff was very attentive whenever I needed help. The location was also very good, with 2 train stations about a 15 - 20 minute walk away (even a shuttle bus to one of the stations).

Great price

Nice, clean hotel. Free shuttle to the train station. About a 15 min walk if you miss the shuttle. There aren't many restaurants near this hotel and the ones nearby close after lunch time, so we ate at restaurants near the train station before heading to hotel. Very clean, great price and decent breakfast. Mostly Japanese items..

This hotel was terrible! The bed felt like a concrete brick. We didn’t get any sleep the first night so we checked out early and ate the cost to switch hotels.

It's a bit far from the nearest station, although there was a shuttle bus heading there. It was more like a van for approximately 10. You may need to wait for the next one at around 10 am.

This Toyoko Inn has the same style and amenities as the others Ive stayed at. The presentation is a little different, but everything is there. For me this location was a little difficult because of the area. There were only two restaurants within walking distance and during my stay one of them was closed. The other, a sushi restaurant, was lovely and very close. The hotel does have a shuttle that runs regularly to and from the nearest station so make sure to take that because the walk is about 20 minutes and with luggage was a bit of a slog.

This was our first hotel in Japan for our very first trip. It was so nice and relaxing. The area we were in turned out to be very close to everything we needed. The shuttle to the train station was amazing. Every staff member was kind, patient and accommodating to all of our needs. I think this place has low ratings because some travelers dont like how small the rooms look or feel. I get that but its super convenient if youre traveling alone or with one other person. The rates are pretty cheap and it was perfectly halfway between Tokyo and Chiba Makuhari which was where we were going to Star Wars Celebration 2025. Breakfast each morning was delicious and the variety of it each day was fantastic. The bathrooms in the lobby were constantly cleaned. The washing machines and dryers were fast and helpful for maintaining all of our dirty laundry. I will definitely recommend this place and think about it again if Im coming back to Japan in the future.
