Chris and the staff are really wonderful. They spare no effort in tending to your needs and are very warm and kind. The hotel itself needs a little TLC though for its charm to really shine. Down the road in Pemba
There was no airport pickup, swimming pool, or nearby beach, and the wifi would come and go, but the apartment was large, clean and comfortable, and the owner's daughter (who is soon to be the chef when the restaurant opens) is delightful.
