"This may look like an ordinary pub from outside but my room was gorgeous. Spacious, beautifully furnished, lovely bathroom, thick towels, everything I like. Staff were really friendly and the food was good too. I'd definitely recommend. "

"Standard pub hotel, no frills, cheap and simple"

"No curtains in the room, just ill-fitting roller blinds, it felt a little like a youth hostel rather than a hotel room. The iron we asked for covered my white shirt in black gunk (my fault for not checking the plate but disappointed staff would give out such rubbish). Extractor fan in bathroom broken, very uncomfortable old soggy mattress. Staff were lovely, breakfast average, quiet overall in the rooms. "

"Large bedroom and recently modernised en-suite. All clean and tidy. Nice and warm (4 day stay in January). Breakfasts were excellent and the food available for the evening meals in the pub part of the hotel was also good. All of the staff were warm, friendly and helpful. The car park is big. Breakfast does not start until 7.30am. You order it from the menu the night before and it was always ready for 7.30 for me, but I was there on business it left me quite tight for getting to my meeting elsewhere on time."

"Great experience all around! Adorable house conveniently located in the village of Yarm. The house is very comfortable, clean and has everything you could need. Very helpful staff prior to check in. I highly recommend staying here, and would definitely do so again! "

"A bit loudish, but if you’re alone, it will do the job just fine. Pub is great, food is great. You can’t ask for more. Lovely lady too. "
