Foremost is there were cockroaches all over right from Bathroom to Restaurant and even on the fruit plate. Staff was very much not bothered about it even after confronting. Swimming pool is only partially activated. After enquiry staff reply was irritating. Arguments were - It was 30 year old photo, what we can do? There is technical problem. Staff was not at all co-operative right from front desk till RM Mr. Surya Reddy. Access to hotel is very difficult as "IN" gate is on Airport road and you need to go to Airport every time you come back from City. "Out" gate closes at 7pm and you need to walk all around outside of the hotel with your luggage to get in the hotel after day long city visit. Property is too old, not maintained, wash basin was broken. They are not at all bothered all about this as they have pocket full of business from corporate clients. In my opinion it is worst hotel I have ever visited.

I very much wanted to love this place. It is obvious this used to be an elegant place in the past. Certainly all the people were great and as accommadating as could be. I appreciate that the property is undergoing extensive remoldeling. This is going to require millions of dollars.
The first room I had in my December stay had a totally unclean, unsanitary, filthy nasty bathroom. They did move me to another room that was cleaner, but in need of maintenance.
It seems that everything is old and being worked on in a piecemeal kind of way.
Knowing from my October stay there the situation, I tried repeatedly to be in touch in advance of December to make sure of the accommodations I wanted. Trying to talk to someone there was nigh to impossible. Everyone was always “in a meeting” and will call back in about 10 minutes, which never happened.
Pool was nice but in need of maintenance.
The breakfast was very good each morning though some items were not fully cooked.
One of the rooms we booked had roaches crawling around.
The staff were super given what they had to work with.
I wish them well in their endeavor to restore this place. But it will involve massive amounts of money.
When I come next year, may give them a shot again to see if work really is progressing.
Again, I really want to love this place. It has a definite charm about it.

This property has aged. Never been renovated. The hotel needs proper renovation and total revamp of air conditioning and it's reataurant. Rooms need to be re-designed with modern upper middle class and rich section of travellers in mind.
