「This was the old schoolhouse in town. The new school facilities are right next to it. The school seems to be a center for the towns activities… I enjoyed seeing the kids and observing a different culture. You are within walking distance to town and restaurants. I recommend Saltka. We had the second floor unit. Very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Also nice to use the complimentary washer and dryer. 」

「La maison est très ancienne ce qui n'est pas un problème mais elle est très sale et en travaux : carrelage, plinthes et seuils de porte manquants, espace extérieur en désordre avec des encombrants, extincteur révisé en 2016. Absence totale de ménage entre les locataires : cheveux partout (tiroirs de cuisine, de salle de bain, au sol...) luminons de poussière dans toutes les pièces et sous tous les lits, vaisselle sale et maniques dégoûtantes, boutons de plaque de cuisson dégoûtants. Absence...

「Just a nice property with high-end finishes. I would stay again with no question. Location was also perfect, close to the city but far enough away to not have light pollution interferring with northern lights which we got to see! 」

「Great accommodation experience. The host was very kind and always reminded us of the weather conditions and schedule. The rooms are clean and well-equipped, and it is the best place I have stayed in Iceland. I recommend it. 」

「El apartamento es cómodo, bonito, amplio, con todas las comodidades y parqueadero. Durante mi estadía se dañó el secador y me lo cambiaron oportunamente, muchas gracias! En una de la noches del fin de semana me llamó la atención que me desperté porque unos jóvenes estaban haciendo trompos con los carros, fueron 5 minutos, sin embargo me llamó la atención.」

「Very steep unpaved access. If you have fear of heights this may cause problems getting in and out. Didn’t have Body wash on arrival. Day 2 we found they have entered and put body wash in which is a violation of privacy — entering room without permission when we were out!!! Could not take shower first night. Didn’t deliver body wash until day 2. View is great. 」
