One of the Best Hospitality Experiences Ever Our stay at Amarina Hotel was truly excellent from start to finish. Guest Relations Mr. Rahim followed up with us from the first day of booking, which made a great first impression. Check-in was smooth, and we were generously upgraded to a room with pool and sea view — thanks to Mariam at reception. The aqua park is perfect for kids and adults and is heated, which is a big advantage. The main pool is also heated and spacious. The beach is clean, sandy, and well maintained. Pool bar service was excellent — thank you Khaled. Room service was very good, and the creative bed decorations were a lovely surprise for the kids. Food variety is outstanding, with different cuisines offered daily. The Italian restaurant was amazing, the Indian restaurant was good, and the Asian restaurant was okay. Special thanks to Executive Chef Ahmed for his extra care, including a lunch bag on our travel day and a fruit basket. Appreciation also to Moustafa, Moataz, and Ahmed for their friendliness and great service in the restaurants. Overall, the hospitality was exceptional with zero issues during our stay. This will definitely not be our last visit. Special thanks again to Mr. Rahim for making our vacation unforgettable.

Resort was clean - staff friendly and hard working. Food was good - Indian restaurant not so good, quality of food there and decoration was poor. Loved the fresh omelette and fresh pasta options and everyday meat, fish being prepared in front of you. Salads were good - lots of variety but we avoided the ones that looked like 'left overs'. Desert not to my taste / would like some ice cream offering, should be a bar station in restaurant so waiters not making a long journey to get drinks. Didn't eat At beach as food there was basic - chips and meat. We loved the Pirate Hut at the beach for shishah and tea to play chess and listen to waves. Have to fill up fridge with bottled water - this should be filled daily . My son was unwell one night and no water in fridge . When i asked at reception they said it was our duty but I think cleaning staff could easily replace water. Also strict on returning door key and towel keys at check out so don't lose. Some confusion over tax / costs at hotel ATM. ATM near taxi desk apparently costs more than ATM tucked near entrance to buffet restaurant. We loved the animation team - beach volleyball and stretching / voga, aqua aerobics was fun. A bit far away from marina and outside the free pick up zone for most activities on get your guide. Cheaper to book these online as opposed to at resort. Not many English there - nice family resort. Thank you

We had a fantastic stay at Amarina Abu Soma, the assets of the hotel is its staff. I would like to specifically thank the hotel manager for the improvements of the service and standard of the hotel. Mr. Ahmed went above and beyond to make sure me and my family ( 10 members) have a great time. Housekeeping ( Mohamed) and kitchen staff went extra miles to make sure your needs are met. Reception staff were superb dealing with our requests, thank you Mohamed and Maryam, you were the best. Special thanks to Mr. Marcos taking a very good care of my kids and making them try new food. Abdullah is one of the best gardeners, we love you so much.

It was the best stay ever! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Especially for people with kids, not for those who want to party all night long. The area is not huge, but enough for evening walks and for all activities. The staff is soo nice, especially Ahmed from reception. He helped with every single thing right away! Cleaning crew, waiters, and animation team-all work so hard and are doing great job every day. The beach is beautiful and clean with spectacular view of the mountains! The property has four restaurants, water park for kids and adults, and performances every evening. We had a blast, and we will definitely will be back to this place again!

The resort was very good. My family had a wonderful time, especially my 7 year old daughter. The food is ok and what to be expected from a buffet with lots of options to cater for all but don’t expect gourmet quality food, however it was still good. Beware of the people selling massages, and excursions who will approach you at the pools and beach.. they will rip you off. Book all that online, which is allot more cheaper. Our stay here was great.

The service is amazing. The entertainment is excellent. There's always something to do and the staff is more than willing to help. But the place is getting old and it's starting to show, perhaps a bit of a renovation would greatly help the appeal. Beach, Aqua park, dancing, endless buffets, great restaurants and great shows every night. As well as free drinks and oduvres with the all-inclusive package. But beware of the staff selling packages around the pool like safari and boat entertainment. Go outside to the market there's a travel office that will sell it to you for half the price. Coming back next year for sure.

What an amazing hotel and hoghly recommnded. We originally booked into Eagle Paradise which is a 0 never stat or book there. In middle of night we came here and the staff were absolutly amazing and went out their way to show us rooms and to ensure we had interconnecting rooms with our children. From the next day the staff knew our scenario and took extra care to make our staf as confortable as possible. The director of the hotel who we bumped into and just got talking took his time to know us and throughout the stay everytime shook our hands and made the effort to say hello which shows that from the top up the personal touch is beyond A*. Kitchen staff get to know their guests and so do lifeguards, securtiy etc. Food selection was amazing and rooms very confortable . This is by far one best hotels i stayed in and the most amazing team ive met and wish them all the best. A really big thank you to all of you.

everything went well in this resort clean good food and the pool are very nice but there is one accident happen. I will never forget it on the 22 May. They told her they’re gonna have a party in the disco area down. It’s a close area look like a club it was nice every residence went there to enjoy and dance and they bring a dancer and some Brazilian group and for all of a sudden some guys like six or seven guys come nobody know them and they just sit in the table they come from the back door and the employees of the hotel start to act they like own the place they start to bring them alcohol and fruits and anything they need and it was very weird situation and then later the dance start dancing and then they act very weird and drunk and before it’s finished for dance one of them call her and tell her can you go and start talking with the girls and the women to show them how to dance and the main reason of this they just wanna keep looking to girls and women there dancing and they keep laughing and looking into women. It was very weird unprofessional situation. I will never come back here ever again.

I had a fantastic stay at Amarina Soma Bay, which truly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the moment I arrived, the experience was seamless thanks to Maged and Ahmed Nafae at the front desk, who made the check-in process smooth and incredibly welcoming. Their professionalism and warmth set a positive tone for my entire visit. During my stay, Takadom from housekeeping ensured my room was not only spotless every day but also meticulously organized. Their attention to detail did not go unnoticed and added significantly to my comfort. Nour, the bellman, was consistently efficient and helpful, always ready with a smile and willing to assist with any requests or inquiries I had. When we first arrived the impression was awful, in fact when we pulled up we thought we were at the wrong place as it did not look like a hotel and we thought we got scammed, after asking a couple people outside they assured me it was the hotel indeed; that is when our disappointment started. This is NOT a 5 star hotel by any means, not by American, European or by Middle Eastern standards. Being a hotel owner in Miami I might be a little harsh, but this place is a 1 star hotel all day long. The rooms have been updated on recent years so that is definitely a plus, although if you are a bigger guy like me the toilet placement when they did the renovations may give you some trouble entering. The food is below average, we felt like eating in a school cafeteria at best, most of the stuff we tried was overcooked and/or too greasy, due to this, we stuck to the basics and ate mostly pasta, eggs and fruits and got by, it’s a shame because we came from another hotel in Cairo and every restaurant in town or hotel food there was fabulous, Egyptians really know how to cook. The gardens around the hotel are well kept, but the outside of the buildings is deteriorating, looks like they ran out of money when renovating the inside units and couldn’t afford to paint the outside buildings or fix the worn out concrete walkways. The staff does not speak English, most of the time you will not get what you asked for due to lack of them understanding English, even asking for simple items like water o

Good hotel, very friendly people and enjoyable views and walks inside the hotel and along the beach. The infrastructure is a memorable one. What we didn‘t really enjoyed is the quality of the room. It was clean, very clean, but the doors, the toilet and the small things wasn‘t in my opinion 5 stars worthy.

Dive shop on site. Beautiful green areas. Very good hospitality. No house reef. No snorkeling ( boats in and out from marina ) -no snorkeling allowed off shore. Another resort 4 resorts south has a house reef. Excellent ORCA dive shop. Booked all inclusive. Likely too much food :) would definetly stay there again
