It has the largest skiable glacier in Europe and is France's second oldest ski resort behind Chamonix, where the largest mountain in western Europe is located, Mont Blanc. It has the longest, normally open full on-piste vertical available in the world. It is a 71 km (44 mi) drive southeast of Grenoble.

Spotless room lovely lady at front desk , great parking, location superb . Nice brekkie . Just a shame people decided to smoke on the balcony first thing in the morning in the next room ruining the gorgeous fresh air . Not the hotel’s fault ….views were amazing from the room. Great location, new modern hotel. Great pool, ski lockers room is good ( but no boot warmers/driers) ,nice modern room maybe a bit small, Nespresso machine, welcome chocolates and biscuits nice touch. Staff friendly. I would recommend.
