「We attended TOR rooms for a nice getaway before my wife gives birth, we had been approximately 3 years ago and had a great time. Unfortunately with the new owners it has gone completely downhill. Upon entering the room there were around 8-9 large spiders. Ordinarily, a couple of spiders I would chuck out of the window. This time however it was almost like an infestation. I had to kill about 6 and flush them before my wife would even settle. We could not get through to the staff on the phone so...

「About a 20-minute walk from the centre, this place is in a convenient and easy-to-reach location. The check-in instructions were clear and straightforward, which made arrival completely stress-free. Check-in is from 3pm and check-out is at 10am. With a relatively late check-in time and quite an early check-out, a later check-out option would be much appreciated. The room was lovely, with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was on the minimalistic side, but still...

「The shower drainage was stuck, bath water was soaking up above my feet, it was very disgusting. The shower tap was difficult to use and had to use brutal force to turn on. I finally asked my wife to endure not to take bath on that night. carpet old and dirty. stairs very steep and narrow, room. door key is kind of toy that all rooms can use the sane key. the room door was difficult to shut and open, had to kick open and pull hardly to lock. the only reception man answered door very late...

「The property far exceeded our expectations, clean, tidy and warm, it is located in a quiet location on the grounds away from the main house any you feel like your totally self contained. The owner lets you be, and sent just a couple of courteous emails in case we wanted things like change of towels. the property is only about 7min drive to the centre of Canterbury. 」
