「Place is more of a bedsit than a hotel and the description is a little misleading. Rooms are basic, a bed and a chair with an oil heater and fan. Nothing else. Shared bathrooms clean but kinda crumbling, one good thing the water pressure was great! The noise from the traffic and trams was deafening come morning, even with the supplied earplugs and the bed was, well, a lumpy bed. I honestly expected more for the price but it's Melbourne. Decent location with plenty eateries around. If you're...

「The room was cold throughout, not sure heating was available but it appears to be the case across much of Australia and New Zealand. I will caution travellers if you arrive early, there is no one in reception to take your luggage so that you can check in later(I stood outside for about half an hour), I was booked for a shared apartment which I knew ahead of time (the bedroom doors don’t have keys), someone opened my door at about 5am, they would have to have known they were in a shared apartment...

「The room itself is small but tidy and clean. However, we are allocated in front of the access door to the stairs, and we could hear the noise of closing the door very loudly and sudden on and off especially during later at night. Therefore, I may suggest to avoid staying in a room close to the stair access for a better sleep at night. Other than that, it’s all good, and the Bluetooth speaker is nice and convenient to use in the room.」
