"This hotel is in an excellent location, perfect for exploring the old town of Seville. The beds, bedding, bathroom etc were perfectly clean but the lamps, kettle and night stands had clearly not been dusted in a while. This was a shame. The main reasons behind our disappointment with this hotel were around the pool.As a a group of 3 friends treating ourselves to a getaway, the pool was the main reason for selecting Amadeus. Unfortunately, a group of 8 local youths were permitted entry to the pool. The weather was beautiful and I can only presume they or their families knew a member of staff working at the hotel and access was permitted as a ‘backhander’ or under the radar. They were unsupervised for the entirety of their visit. They became loud and completely took over the space in the pool to the point that we and other guests could not fit in the pool. This included family with a tiny bandy; they could not use the pool as the youths were jumping in and splashing unacceptably. They were also a little inappropriate with a guest who clearly presented with additional needs. This whole situation was not acceptable. When a member of our group raised this with staff on reception, she was dismissed and told -untruthfully- that these children were with parents. They absolutely were not. This dishonesty was really disappointing. I then raised this again on departure and really wasn’t given any apology or truthful explanation for the youths’ presence. A real shame Hotel Amadeus"

"Beautiful hotel with lots of antiques for decoration. The room was small, but very nice, had a beautiful carved wood ceiling, we were told the only one in the hotel. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was great. right in the middle of the old town so walkable to everything."

"What a special, unique, charming, central location for the perfect stay in Seville! This is a beautiful property right in the center with lovely, spacious accomodations. The staff is exceptionally kind and were so gracious to our golden retriever who felt right at home there:) We look forward to returning and enjoying all the amenities and charm this hotel has to offer. "Visited for a day trip to Seville from Portugal and wanted something in a great area - and everything greatly exceeded my expectations! The location was superb (5-10 min walk to everything). Staff were amazing for check in and check out, room was perfect for what we needed and everything was super clean. Again, can’t say enough about it…top notch!"

"Location is very close to attractions. We liked that part. Room is very small but clean. Bathroom design is worst. Bathroom door does not close completely , no privacy. Bathroom has glass wall and glass door, when we switch on light in bathroom, whole bedroom is reflected with bright light and distraction to other person sleeping on bed. Shower has not much hot water, it is not warm enough. Bath is not satisfying. Shower has opening and no door. So, water sprinkles and come over to rest of the bathroom and whole floor outside shower gets wet and water all around. People may slip and fall on this wet floor. Shower head design is the worst design. There is basic hot pot on TV table, but no outlet near by to plug the hot water pot. No coffee packs in room, just tea packs are there. "
