The Lalit resort and spa

Amazing resort. Friendly, courteous, very warm welcome. The food is fantastic, rooms are very spacious, clean, bed was very comfortable. Lots of activities to do here. The massage at Spiceology is above and beyond; lots of different massages to choose from. Swimming pool is clean, nice view of the river which you can kayak/canoe in. Check out was fast.

Great place for a family holiday

The staff and the facilities at the LaLiT made our stay an extremely pleasant experience. The hotel rooms were spacious and the balcony and the jacuzzi was a lovely touch. The pool area, gym & games room were all well equipped and staffed. The spa did some great treatments and the restaurant was had a range of options. The staff throughout the hotel really did go the extra mile. The only areas for improvement would be the wifi connections in the rooms which was a bit patchy (although excellent in the common areas). Would definitely recommend and will be visiting myself again in the future.

Not upto the mark !

A nice weekend getaway, but the food was Terrible. It wasn’t worth it at all. Food is Quite expensive and not at all pleasant! Breakfast was average. I’m staying here for the second time. The rooms & services are amazing, staffs are very friendly, neetu & Sreeja from the front desk were quick to serving our needs.

The LaLit Resort Bekal was wonderful. The hotel provides a perfect ambiance with the nearby Nombili river and the Arabian Sea coastline walkable within its campus. The best thing about the resort, however, is the staff: Dr. Suraj (manager), Mr. Shahji (driver), Mr. Singh (housekeeping), and Ms. Bindu (front desk). They all made the stay a wonderful experience!!!

Great hotel

Hotel is lovely - set in a pretty setting around a lake. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Bathrooms are huge. Swimming pool lovely with plenty of chairs and umbrellas. Food in restaurant very tasty, although it is on the pricey side for India. Beach is gorgeous

Lovely grounds & great service

It is am amazing place. The grounds are beautiful and it is very rejuvenating to be in such beautiful surroundings. The room I felt was a little small, though the bathroom is quite spacious. The service in the resturant is great & the Chef Surojeet with his team go out of the way to make the food experience exceed expectations in every way.

Quiet hideaway with fantastic service

From the first momemt to the last, everything was amazing. Discreet top service. The staff is extremely helpful and know what they do. The garden is an oasis with nice greenery and exceptionally well kept. The breakfast buffet is great. So are the other meals on offer. Discreet cleaning while you have your breakfast. The walking bridge over the river will take you to the beach. Wonderful spa with different treatments. Very professional.Looking for a place for telaxation and "just being"? This is the place! We travelled a lot in India and all added together this is the most amazing place we have stayed.

Lalit Bekal

The hotel grounds were beautiful, as were the room and view. It was peaceful and lovely place. And there were some lovely touches as we stayed over Xmas - for example, a stocking in our room on Xmas morning with cookies and cakes... very sweet. The negatives for us were - the Western food was pretty sub-standard (the pizza, nachos, and veg burger were all pretty bad). However, the Indian food was delicious. My advice to the hotel would be to remove menu items that cannot deliver to halfway decent standard. - the service, though friendly and always well intentioned, was a little over-zealous. We were asked 5 times over breakfast how our meal was which ironically detracted from it, and one morning our phone was ringing off the hook because they wanted to know if we were coming to breakfast... annoying.
