The room (5) was clean and bright, however the radiator was stone cold. Contacted reception, the boiler had tripped, the room radiator warmed up but the shower room stayed cold. The shower didn't have enough power for the overhead shower to work and the smaller shower head on the riser rail kept slipping down and wouldn't hold the shower head in place. Breakfast was great and the staff were very attentive. Got to Gatwick airport in 5 minutes so it served a purpose.

Needed a quick stay after arriving late at Gatwick. The room was clean and the bathroom lovely. The bed and comforters were so cozy. The hotel is old, but I that’s part of the charm.
