This property is pictured as waterfront, but is actually waterview, as listed. A little disappointed, but my fault for seeing the listing as I wanted it to be. Perfectly cleaned and very comfortable. Plenty of grassy area for children and pets. Hated the "water saving" shower head, but possibly a necessity for the area. Overall I'd happily stay here again

Me, wife and dogs had a wonderful stay at Glacier View Cabins. We wish we could have spent a few more nights but only stayed one night to catch the ferry to Kodiak the following day. Convenient location if you're waiting for the ferry. The owners were also very understanding and accommodating of a mishap when I booked the room. Would recommend friends and family to check this place out if they are near by. The views out of the cabin were fantastic as well.

We greatly preferred this to staying in a hotel! It has everything you need! Clean - like new! We would stay here again - great value! It’s on the east end of town, so you do need to drive into town - but we prefer that -away from the crowds. Not the place if you want to be able to walk everywhere. There is an easy shortcut to the Spit! It literally has a Glacier view! Our one complaint was related to only two seats and a small table for meal time (There were 3 of us - so we just brought in a chair from outside and moved the table not a big deal - but we just like sitting around a table for meal banter) Charlie (14) rated this a “6!” - He found his spot on the sofa - for us older folks (late 60’s) the low sofa took some extra energy to get out of 😃. Note: “Wild Honey” Restaurant for crepes -both sweet and savory is a winner! “Swell Tacos” on the spit - great flavor combinations! Be prepared for higher grocery store prices!

This was a great place to stay. The property is very quiet and has an amazing view. The check in and out process was so easy and the cabin was perfect for our needs.
