Property was beautiful with original decor. There was no elevator so you had to drag your suitcases upstairs which was not too good. There were no phones in the room in case you had an emergency. The staff was friendly though

The entrance door is very difficult to get through if by oneself with pets or luggage. My husband fell there and broke his back. I didn’t even get a free stay or food when I went there alone because he had passed away two months after the fall. No one offered to help us but other guests at the time of the fall. The place is lovely otherwise…

The hotel was SO historically interesting. Definitely take the time to watch the video describing all the architectural details you might miss otherwise. The Turquoise Room was worth the visit. We will surely return!

Love this property, the architecture Mary Cotler, The many displays of art work by Tina Minon, Navajo museum on property, the train history and how it played a roll for property, Harvey Girls and fabulous foods. This hotel is truly a gem in Winslow. The employees were excellent and professional. The hotel is an early 20th century railroad station and the hotel and rooms still have that feel. The restaurant is top notch with wonderful food (ate there twice). Anyone going to Winslow, Arizona should stay in this hotel.

The mattress was very hard and there were lights left on in the room from ancient things attach the wall like hairdryer that made it difficult to sleep no door to the bathroom, which would’ve helped with lighting issues so still some updating to do but a beautiful

This place is a gem. Walking into La Posada feels like being welcomed into someone’s beautifully curated home — the art, the decor, the gardens, the history of the building itself. It doesn’t feel like a hotel, it feels like you’re a guest somewhere special. But the food. Oh my god, the food. We eat out a LOT — my partner and I are serious restaurant people — and the Turquoise Room was hands down the best meal we’ve had in a very long time. We were on a week-long Arizona road trip hitting some incredible spots, and dinner at La Posada was one of the highlights of the entire trip. If you’re driving through Winslow, this isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a reason to stop.

The hotel was a good stopping point on our trip. It was just a short walk to downtown and pub-style dining. We enjoyed train spotting at night. Our room was nice with a balcony and view of the trains. This was a great stay in a hotel with a lot of history.

Outstanding property- this was our third stay. Everything is first class- and no details are missed. This stay the front desk staff told us to only text any questions or needs. We did just that. Our TV remote needed batteries- so it was unusable. Light bulbs needed to be replaced. So a priceless jewel on Route 66 earned a poor review because of non-responsive front desk clerks. We sat in a dark room with no TV.

Wonderful hotel for a short stay. Very restful. A great place to stay to get away for the stress of everyday life. Not a lot to do in Winslow. However, there are national parks in the area. The hotel sits next to railroad tracks. In fact it's an AMTRACK station. If you don't like the sound of trains, book a room towareds the frount of the hotel.
