Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Es handelt sich um ein Wohnhaus, dass sechs Zimmer hat. Es gibt eine große Küche im Erdgeschoss und eine kleine im Obergeschoss. Zwei Badezimmer sind vorhanden. Die HausTür ist immer offen, so dass man auch jederzeit schon vorab zumindest sein Gepäck ins Haus bringen kann. Der Parkplatz ist schräg gegen über. Höfn ist insgesamt eher ein beschaulicher Ort. Der netto, der einzige Lebensmittelladen am Ort, ist 3 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt.

All the room have a shared bathroom!

The stay started out fairly poorly as the room we rented had a shared bathroom although the description failed to mention it. In fact, it mentioned it had two bathrooms. I don’t do shared bathrooms so I was fairly annoyed. The place was very nice and the owner of the guesthouse did upgrade us to a better room and got us in to the town pool. The location was great and it was spotless.

Í herberginu var mikill raki og lyktin sem er í herberginu var eiginlega bara hræðileg. Klósettin voru ofboðslega skítug og sturtan var full af hárum og ógeði. Í ljósi aðstæðna í samfélaginu þá hefði ég haldið að hreinlæti yrði upp á 10! Þvi miður þá var þetta ekki mjög ánægjuleg upplifun.

Das Zimmer war sehr klein und sehr spartanusch eingerichtet. Bett, Stuhl, Steckdose, Lampe. Leider war nicht wirklich Platz für einen Koffer. Der musste mit mir im Bett schlafen😂😎

Great place, amazing view

I really liked staying here. The housekeeper was very nice, my bed was comfortable, the kitchen was nicely facilitated and overall the house was very clean. You could see the Vatnajökull from just outside the house! I also got a free ticket to the swimmingpool, so that was a welcome surprise as well!

I loved this property, however, my friends and I definitely enjoyed it more because of Nikola (the host). He is the most kindest, welcoming, and accommodating host that we’ve ever had. His hospitality blew us away especially when he offered us tea and sweet treats. Nikola also sat with us and taught us about Icelandic culture and gave us suggestions on where to visit. I would highly recommend this property to any guests, it is very clean, has a kitchen for use, and comfortable beds. We very much enjoyed our stay here and we all hope to come back in the future.

This was my favourite stay from the week were in Iceland. It had such a home like feel, we had a double room next to the living room. I felt cosy as soon as I walked through the door! Heating was on, good kitchen facilities (theres a supermarket very close, so we cooked rather than eating out!). Quiet location, parking wasn't very clear as were signs showing you might get towed if you parked in certain places. PLEASE can the host add a sign to the front door, saying to use the lower ground door? It was so confusing when we arrived, and it took someone to come out and show us. We had to then show other travellers the right way to get in at various points during our evening. It wasn't clear at all.

Super wonderful stay. The room was small, the host was very accomodating. We arrived with the Romanian caretakers receiving us, very warm welcome! Love it! They also told us a lot about the surrounding areas, and where to eat. Apparently this is the capital of lobsters in Iceland. So, make sure you don't miss that out.

1 Dusche für das ganze Haus ist definitiv zu wenig, da helfen auch Freikarten für das Duschen im öffentlichen Freibad nicht. Knapp 130€ für eine Nacht in einem winzigen Zimmerchen ohne anständige Duschgelegenheit sind einfach viel zu viel. Wirklich enttäuschend!

Nice house in quiet and central environment

We were welcomed beautifully by Amir, the kitchen is very well equipped, the common bathroom is clean, the room is spacious for 3 people. Recommended for a short stay.

Bedroom and bed was comfortable. Bathroom facilities were below what we have come to expect in Iceland. Staircase was quite dangerous from basement to first floor to access bathroom..definitely wouldn’t attempt at night unless desperate. No continental breakfast as we have also come to expect from similar accommodation in Iceland. No soap provided..even to wash hands! Was ok for one night but wouldn’t stay longer and feel there is better value for ISK out there.
