The cottage is beautiful, spotless, and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It’s only about 15 minutes from some wonderful hot springs right by the water. The location is fantastic, and communication with the owner was excellent throughout our stay. We only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the sauna and jacuzzi on the back porch while taking in the breathtaking mountain views. Thank you, Vladimir, for everything! We had a wonderful stay and would definitely love to come back!

Staff was friendly and helpful. Everyday the basic breakfast was good and convenient. No restaurant but other lodgings in the area have restaurants. The location is not remote as it's right off the ring road, but it's quiet and beautiful with a main hiking trailhead on the property. The rooms were clean and basic, ifugh for

One of the few relatively reasonably priced locations in this area, located on a sheep farm. The site was extremely beautiful. There’s a great hiking trail that connects to the property.

It’s accessible from the main road and activities around the area. The room had everything we need it for. The staff was very attentive, including Saga (the dog), who was very friendly too. The room and surrounding areas were very clean and the beds super comfortable. Lovely place

Spacious room on an absolutely gorgeous property. Check-in and check-out were easy, and there was plenty of parking available. There are amazing hiking trails directly on the property, which ended up being one of our favorite parts of the stay. We stayed for 3 nights while exploring the glacier area. The property is a very convenient drive to Diamond Beach and Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon, and it’s also only about 25 minutes from Höfn. We explored the hiking trails on our first day and were so glad we did — we ended up doing an 8 km loop that led to the glacier on a beautiful day. We had a glacier hike scheduled for the following day that unfortunately ended up being cancelled due to weather, so getting to explore the glacier on our own was a huge plus! As for improvements, I wish the room had at least a mini fridge, although we made it work without one. Breakfast was okay — nothing particularly memorable, but definitely good enough to fuel us for the day. I also wish the beds were double beds rather than two twin beds. I found the bed a little uncomfortable, although my girlfriend slept fine. Overall, we had a great experience and really enjoyed our stay. The property and location were beautiful, and we would definitely stay again.
