Stayed here on two occasions now, this time, the breakfast was rather poor compared to previous stay. Rooms are dated but comfortable, can get warm in the summer with no A/C but electric fan was provided. Staff very friendly and competent and spoke good English.

Very nice, if somewhat dated rooms. Old furniture with heavily stained desk chair. Ample free parking, friendly staff, decent breakfast and of course the wonderful neighbourhood. I would definitely stay again, but probably in a better quality room.

Okay but not great experience

Hotel staff does not greet you upon entry. They always look down. I booked a room that was advertised to sleep 3 persons but only sleeps 2!! False advertising. I had to pay extra for an extra foldable bed!! They also charge extra tourist taxes!! So all in all way more expensive. This should all have been included in the Hotels.com pricing! Rooms are dated, no A/C units, fan or anything present. You need to open the window for some airflow… typical Dutch. No fridge or microwave present. Beds are good and comfortable. Shower is in the middle of the tub not on right or left side. Water pressure was low to conserve water so your legs stay cold during showering. Breakfast buffet costs extra! Could be included in the price in my opinion.

The hotel is in a great location just 100m from an excellent village shopping area - a good selection of stores and fabulous bakery/coffee shop. Parking is easy and the junior suite spacious enough. However, the bathroom is in need of a refurbishment as there was mould around the bath and on the tiles. Not good. The courtyard area needs a clean up - leaves not cleared and several cigarette ends lying on the ground for the duration of our stay - it could be a great area, just need to keep the floor and furniture spotless! Staff are friendly except at check-in when one male receptionist was adamant that at 11am we were not allowed our room until 3pm and he was going to make us sit in reception. However a colleague of his stepped in and kindly gave us our room. Anna at reception was excellent - smiling, friendly, very service minded and a credit to the hotel - well done Anna, you do a great job and thank you! Food and the restaurant staff all great and the menu selection has the golden rule of a short menu but everything excellently cooked!

The check-in was horrible. They had a confirmation email about my reservation, but it wasn’t in the booking. The room didn’t even have a coffee maker. The mattress is on the bed were very very very old and uncomfortable overall decor and cleanliness of the hotel room was not very interesting I stayed in quite a few at your hotels and this one was disappointing.

Very outdated room

Stayed few times at this hotel in the last few years, always same outdated rooms, average breakfast, no improvements at all during the years. Room very cold even if an electric radiator was in the room it took 2x days running to have a decent room temperature.

Behöver en uppfräschning

Vi var flera vänner som bodde på hotellet över en helg. Vi bodde i tre olika rum med samma standard och pris, men fick helt olika faciliteter. Två av rummen hade kylskåp och/eller AC. Mitt rum hade ingen AC, inget kylskåp och det gick knappt att få kallt vatten i duschen. Det var varmt och kvavt. Det luktade svett i alla tre rum, kanske från heltäckningsmattorna. Det kändes inte fräscht och det var svårt att sova. Jag var tvungen att ha fönstret öppet hela tiden för att få in luft, men eftersom rummet låg ovanför entrén blev jag väckt på natten av gäster som anlände. Det var inte en trevlig vistelse, det levde inte upp till mina förväntningar.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen, Teppich im Zimmer war ziemlich abgelaufen. Die Fugen im Bad teilweise verschimmelt. Wir kamen um 20.00Uhr an und das Restaurant war schon geschlossen.
