Excellent accueil et au coeur de la Forêt Noire

Nous avons du changer d'hôtel et avons logé à l hôtel Adelia qui était encore plus spacieux et qualitatif. L'accueil de notre hôte a été excellent et la chambre était parfaite, propre et lumineuse.

einfaches Landhotel als Hotel Garni ?

Uns, einer Motorradgruppe bestehend aus vier Herren, wurde beim eintreffen mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel überbucht sei da der Computer zu langsam gewesen sei. Das Hotel wurde ca. vier Monate vorher gebucht und unsere Buchung bestätigt. Aus vier gebuchten und zugesagten Einzelzimmern wurden dann zwei Einzel- und ein Doppelzimmer. Über ein Restaurant verfügt das Hotel nicht. Es wurde uns hierzu mitgeteilt, dass nur bei einer Buchung mit Halbpension die Möglichkeit zum Abendessen gegeben sei. Einen Hinweis auf diese Möglichkeit haben wir auf der Buchungsplattform jedoch nicht gefunden, vielleicht auch übersehen. Die Bitte ob nicht doch ein einfaches Abendbrot möglich sei da zur Bewirtung der anderen Gäste ja eine aktive Küche vorhanden sei, wurde als nicht möglich abgelehnt. Da die im Ort liegende, zusätzliche Gastronomie am Mittwoch und am Donnerstag geschlossen hat, sind wir per Taxi zu einem Restaurant in der Nähe gefahren und haben für Hinfahrt und Rückfahrt zusätzlich 30,00 € aufwenden müssen.

Überteuertes Frühstück

Für eine kurz Urlaub (2-3 Tage) ist das Hotel relativ gut geeignet. Das Inventar des Hotels hat seine beste Zeit leider schon hinter sich. Das Zimmer war sauber bis auf den Punkt, dass während der 3 Tage die Fliegen und eine tote Biene auf dem Boden des Badezimmers nicht beseitigt wurde. Das W-lan, womit grossartig geworben wird, hat sogut wie keine Reichweite in die oberen Zimmer. Das grösste Manko besteht beim Frühstück. Das Preisleistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider gar nicht. Es wurde nur sehr rar bis gar nicht nachgefüllt und das Angebot im Allgemeinen hält sich sehr in Grenzen. Wir mussten für unser Kleinkind den gesamten Preis, wie für eine erwachsene Person, bezahlen und wurden zuvor nicht darüber informiert.

No hay sabanas -

El edificio es hermoso y la habitación en madera con ducha y aseo propio muy bonita y sencilla. El entorno rural hermoso, conservado y muy muy tranquilo. En este hotel no hay sábanas. Ni una. Tienes que dormir obligatoriamente sobre la funda del colchon sintética. El personal apenas habla inglés. El dueño habla muy bien ingles y español pero no está siempre. El Wi-Fi llega a zonas comunes pero no dentro de nuestra habitación. Cuando hablas con el jefe dice que es culpa de tu Apple y que en Alemania no se ponen sábanas. Son 5 euros noche adicionales por mascota. La fruta en el desayuno que vimos son unos gajitos cortados y unas rodajiutas de kiwi por eso optamos por desayunar en otro lado.

Nichts erwarten - nichts bekommen

Nie mehr! Die Liste der Zimmer- und Hotelausstattung ist wohl willkürlich und lieber alles als nichts gelistet. Rezeption: Bauchladen mit unkooperativem nicht serviceorientiertem Personal "hatte Urlaub, hat Kollege angenommen, weiß von nichts, kann nichts machen, u.dgl." Hygieneverständnis soweit sicht- und erlebbar nicht vorhanden! Zimmereinrichtung ist ein Sammelsurium aus 20 Jahren - nicht stylisch, sondern alt, unpassend und abgenutzt. Bodenbelag im Schlaf u. Bad sehr kritisch! Bad ist alt und verbraucht, Hygiene nicht erkennbar. Veranda auf Rückseite: Tierleiche, Moos und Unkraut, Möbel defekt, alte Zigis. Sogenannter Biergarten: altes Mobiliar, Platten uneben + Unkraut. Im Bad kein Sichtschutzvorhang am Fenster, Warmwasser schlecht einstellbar. Geräusche vom Gang und Nebenzimmer kommen ungefiltert. Treppenhaus Bauzustand unrenoviert.

Three Stars?

"Das Landhaus" is what its name suggests: a quiet location in a rural village. But it also claims to be a three star hotel, which it is certainly not. When we arrived we were greeted by a locked door and a sign promising that someone would be back soon. This is a one-man - or more accurately a one-woman - operation. Understandably she can't be everywhere at all times. But can the hotel then claim 3 stars? There were other signs as well that this establishment is run on a shoestring. They were the sort of minor flaws one would accept, if the hotel hadn't pretended to be what it is not!

Convenient for the Black Forest

We arrived on a dark, rainy night to find there is no restaurant - apart from bread and cheese! We went back out to the restaurant where the bus drops you off and had a lovely dinner. If your German isn't very good this is a difficult place to visit as the manager speaks no English. The room was fine and we were lucky to get good weather on the Saturday so were able to go out walking - which really is the only thing to do here.

Lovely rural geusthouse

Apart from the slight hiccup of our reservation, we were very satisfied with this hotel. The location is a quiet, rural area ideally placed for those who wish to ramble on the various and well signposted walks in the southern Black Forest. The room was comfortable, clean and well furnished. The breakfast buffet was typically german with fresh rolls, sliced meats & cheeses, eggs & cereals. Within 100 meters of the hotel is a typical local inn which was well worth a visit.
