Argyle Motor Lodge
Great palace to stay. Close to city. Freindly staff. Nice and quite room. Good city view from balcony. Will recomend and will stay again when down to hobart.

Black Buffalo Hotel
It was a no frills place. We only stayed overnight, the check in staff is not always around but the check in was easy through a lock box. No elevators. The area few blocks from the hotel had good restaurants.

The Lodge on Elizabeth
Older two-level style cottage, good layout but the bathroom is in dire need of improvements and renovations. The shower head sprays water all over the place. Well-stocked kitchen. Very comfortable bed. Mostly quiet at night. It is a walkable stroll to the harbour and most public transport.
