We can’t say enough about the friendly, genuine and reliable service we received at Lys Homestay. Nothing was ever too much trouble, they went over and above our expectations. Unfortunately I fell ill whilst on holiday, however Lys arranged a doctor immediately which put us both at ease. Lys arranged our transport for our medical visit plus all our day trips and for the next trek of our holiday destination. Lys,s local knowledge of the area was super helpful and she was a pleasure to deal with. This service excellence was also felt by all other family members during our stay. Perfectly situated with a short walk to restaurants and shopping.We highly recommend Lys Homestay. We know we will definitely return here on our next stay. Thanks Lys and all the family for making our stay such a memorable one. Greg and Gill.

We had a great time at Lys Homestay. The staff are welcoming and kind. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We were able to rent a moped from them, which was very convenient. The location is walking distance to many restaurants and shops. We would love to stay again!

Definitely recommend Lys home stay and actually wish I had a second night there! The staff is so helpful and arranged everything I needed. I was travelling solo and they organized a motorbike guide to take me to all the sites which was a perfect way to get around. They also offer bicycle rentals, and Hang Mus is a really nice afternoon bike ride away from the home stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was great! Highly recommend staying here and am very grateful for all of the amazing help they provided.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lys Homestay. So many positives - the owner genuinely wanted to help us, the rooms were large, clean and quiet with high quality furnishings, breakfasts were delicious and the location perfect, far enough from the noise, but just a few mins walk from everything. Only comment is that their rental bikes needed maintenance. Highly recommended!

Location is great for taking a bicycle to Bich Dong & Hang Mua. The owners arranged a motorbike taxi to take me to Trang An for the boat tour when I arrived & the driver waited to take me back. Everyone is so helpful & welcoming!

We had a lovely stay at Lys while exploring Tam Coc and the surrounding area. Ly and her family were so welcoming and helpful! The room was clean and spacious. The location was quiet, but you won’t miss out as it’s only a short walk to all of the restaurants and bars (also recommend Family Restaurant for food). Would stay again if we go back to Tam Coc :)

We loved our stay at Lys Homestay, the hosts are very accommodating and considerate and the rooms are very nice. The location is tucked away so it's quieter with less traffic which we appreciated and slept soundly, although the neighboring rooster might wake you up early. Even so, it's in a prime location to walk to plenty of good restaurants and only a 10-20 minute bike ride to activities At Ly's we rented a motorbike to drive to the Trang An boat tour and Bird garden. This was our first time riding a motorbike and they even took time and taught us how to drive it which was beyond what I expected. We also took advantage of doing our laundry here and it was ready within the day, neatly folded and warm! They charge the laundry by weight. When we checked out but still had to stick around town before our late night train to Hue, they stored our luggage for us so we could go out, and they even called the taxi for us to the train station and sent us on our way with two bananas and water bottles and a hug! The best and most wholesome place I've stayed at so far, I would recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Lys Homestay, the owner and her family were very helpful and told us what to expect at various places so we weren’t surprised or taken advantage of. They arranged a driver for us who drove very safely and we felt very comfortable throughout. The homestay is in a great location and very close to the lake. Would encourage you to stay at Lys Homestay.

Best place to stay!
We loved our stay here. The service was absolutely excellent. Our host was so helpful and gave us good ideas about where to go. We rented a motor bike from her and it was great. We did bikes the next day and it was also terrific. Our breakfast was delicious. She only charged two dollars a kilogram for laundry and that was great also.

The owners are the kindest people you will ever come across! Totally treated us like their kids it was amazing. And they are so helpful in renting scooters and showing you all the hot spots to visit! Absolutely amazing!

Great homestay on our motorbike trip!
Lovely place to stay for our first stop on a motorbike trip from Hanoi. Really sweet people and clean rooms. The bathrooms were especially nice! They took our breakfast order the night before and served the food right at the time we specified in the morning. Close enough to several restaurants and shops that you can walk. Highly recommend staying here!

I had a wonderful stay at here. Lys and her team were so helpful and attentive. Room was very clean and bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was yummy too. Lys would always be around with a smile to help you out. Lovely family and stay would highly recommend.

Lovely stay
Our room was very clean and comfortable, with the bed being the most comfortable of our trip! The location is ideal for seeing the sites around Tam Coc and they have bikes and mopeds for rent. We rented a moped 2 days in a row and had a blast. The owners themselves were very kind and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a good stay. We would definitely recommend to others!

Lovely Place with lovely Owner
Had a lovely stay here; we were a group of 4 so booked 2 out of 3 rooms available. The couple got the downstairs bedroom and myself and friend got the smaller room upstairs initially. After the first night we were asked if we wanted to move to the larger room with separate beds for the subsequent nights. All beds soft with clean linens and good pillows. Bathrooms are well equipped too, with a wet room set up in the double room, and a screened shower in the family room. Breakfast was delicious and good options to chose from, also nice to be asked what time we wanted breakfast. Ly's Homestay is to the right of the lake on the road to the Temple. Very easy walking distance of main strip. Very helpful in arranging moped hire for my friends and organising a driver for a trip to the bird valley. Gave good advice about attractions etc. We were also able to do laundry for 50,000VND/kg. Speaks fluent French and Vietnamese and used Google Translate to talk with my friends in English which was lovely. (My french was a bit rusty but we made good)

Abbiamo soggiornato in questa homestay per 4 notti. La struttura è molto bella e ben tenuta. La camera è molto accogliente, il bagno è grande con la doccia molto comoda. Sia la camera che gli spazi comuni sono puliti. Bella anche la piscina. La colazione è davvero molto buona, comprende succhi, tè e caffè a buffet, un piatto di frutta fresca ed un piatto a scelta da un menù. Abbiamo noleggiato due giorni le biciclette, non solo sono nuove ma la spesa è stata irrisoria. Posizione eccezionale. Quello che però rende questo posto il top è la gentilezza e la simpatia della proprietaria e della sua famiglia.

部屋は清潔で広くて快適でした。目の前がプールなのですぐ入れて便利でした。ママさんも親切でチェックアウトの時にバナナと水を持たせてくれたり困った事はないかと声かけてくれたり安心して過ごせました。また泊まりたいホテルの一つになりました。

If you come to Tam Coc and stay here, there is nothing to worry about. This guest house is run by a family. They are all kind and they will offer you detailed sightseeing plans. Their son was staying in Japan and can speak Japanese. The rooms are very clean and you can feel the pleasure of coming to Vietnam for the buildings and decorations. Hué est vraiment très gentille et attentionnée. Bon lit, Wi-Fi OK, bon petit déjeuné, juste à côté de l'embarcadère de Tam Coc. Le seul mauvais point est la location de vélo : pour 50.000 VND par jour on pourrai avoir un bon vélo, et non pas un vieux VTC en mauvais état, sans vitesse fonctionnelle et désagréable à utiliser.

Chambre d'hôte très bien située avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. L'accueil est très chaleureux. La propriétaire parle français, ce qui est très pratique. Nous sommes passés par l'hôtel pour réserver le transfert entre l'aéroport d'Hanoi et l'hôtel en voiture privée, pour louer un scooter et pour le bus allant vers Cat Ba. Tout s'est bien passé. La région est très jolie.

Petit hôtel très bien situé, à quelques minutes de marche de tout et au calme. Très propre,lit super confortable, bon petit déjeuner et wifi excellent. Les hôtes très accueillants la propriétaire parle un très bon français. Le service de buanderie est très rapide. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Hué est une dame adorable!

Parfais le séjour à Lys Homestay , on a reste 3 jours, et tout c'est très bien passé: hyper bien localisé, propre et on a reçu les meilleurs conseil pour connaître la région!!! Je recommande fortement

Fantastic place!
It was amazing! Location is great very close to boats where you can take a tour along the river, owners are great and very welcoming, place is in very good shape, rooms are clean and spacious, have fridge and safe. There are bicycles on the site available for small charge. Perfect place for cycling around. I strongly recommend this place :-)

Il faisait très froid à Tam Coc mais l'accueil chaleureux de Hûé et son mari m'ont fait oublié ma tenue si inadéquate pour la saison.L'accueil de Hûé (Lys en Vietnamien), m'a donné l'impression de retrouver une vieille amie !!!! Merci Hûé pour ton anorak , ton Kway ton parapluie , merci à ton mari d'être allé acheter mon équipement pour le froid, pour que je puisse continuer mon périple confortablement ! Merci pour mes réservations sur les sites , pour vos conseils avisés. Je n'ai aucun doute sur la réussite de votre entreprise toute nouvelle : sa situation exceptionnelle sur Tam-Coc, la propreté de votre maison, le confort que vous offrez, le calme , la quiétude....Merci encore Hûé de m'avoir emmené au festival des lanternes de Tam-Coc. Very good and friendly homestay
Very good rooms and very friendly and helpful owners. Choice between western and Vietnamese breakfast. We preferred the western breakfast with bread, omelette, homemade jam, fresh fruit and tea/coffee. By far the best place we stayed so far in Vietnam. Centrally located in Tam Coc. The owners really want to make you feel comfortable. On New Year's Eve they treated all guests on drinks and a choice of fruits and sweets.
