Very nice hotel next to the station with understanding staff. You also have free meal (supper or breakfast). Hotel has seen years and it shows at some places, but nothing worrying or disturbing. I would book there again.

The hot spring bath was very nice. It was interesting that women needed to get the key for the bath from the front desk, but men can just use the room key. For me, the bed was a little stiff, but my partner enjoyed it. The hotel is convenient that it is very close to the station.

No check in until after 4 pm ! The rooms are tiny ( I know Japanese hotel rooms can be small but these were tiny even my Japanese travelers mentioned it ) bathroom even smaller - 300+ rooms only two elevators long waits - breakfast was good

This hotel was easily reached from the station on foot with my luggage and I was relieved to see escalators up and down so no lugging up steps. The price was really good for what was included ... I didn't use the public bath here as was too busy and tired by the time I returned to the hotel but excellent to have that option - I used the bath in the room instead. To have breakfast and dinner included was an unexpected bonus - amazing at the price point too! I didn't experience breakfast due to my timings but dinner was really good ... and I'm a very picky western eater who doesn't eat meat! The restaurant staff were really stretched but seemed friendly and helpful ... I appreciated the food they provided very much. I'd definitely recommend this as a base for seeing everything around the area and pleased with my choice.
