Family of 5 fit well in this condo, anything smaller would’ve been too small. The property itself was clean, but definitely old. Our condo, was more updated inside. Kitchen was nice. Everything was clean. The property location to the beach was great. The downsides of the condo, the bedrooms didn’t have ceiling fans; so, even though the air condition worked, it only went down to 68, so as soon as it kicked off, you felt hot. On top of that, this unit is on the 2nd floor, so if you luck out, like we did, we had the most obnoxious people above us. Our first night they were opening and closing their sliding door onto the balcony every other minute. I have no idea what they were doing, and this was from about 1am-2am. It was pretty infuriating. And since this isn’t a hotel, you can’t call anyone, that I knew of anyway. Then they were up at 6am. So that’s not the our unit owners fault, that’s just sucky timing to be there at the same time. Every night it went on. To solve the heat problem, we bought an oscillating fan from Walmart for our room and it was perfect. Even helped us sleep through the obnoxious neighbors. And there were more obnoxious neighbors too. Because it is an older property, when kids ran down the hallway, you heard it and felt it. So the condo itself was great, I’d do it again. The only downside of the condo was the lack of airflow in the bedrooms. Outside of that just the neighbors.

It was an amazing stay, the property was beautiful so was the view from our room. The one thing I have to say is the beach was not what I was expecting it was great exploring during low tide tho a little muddy. Found lots of cool sea life and shells and even horseshoe crabs and sand dollars. I would definitely stay again.

We visit HHI annually as a military family and like to stay in apartments or condos. This one was meh...it was like a hotel with people above us stomping around all night and sliding something open and shut - for that alone, we probably will not return. The apt was a lot smaller then the online impression (as usual) and there is no actual dining area and had to eat meals on a bar on on the coffee table. The area was nice, the visual is serene and very close to the ocean. It has its pros but just not enough for us to return

You see alot of wildlife right on the beach we seen deer, one deer was right under our balcony. There is a sign for alligator but never to see it. There is sea turtles nesting on beach at night. The koi fish pond was very pretty at night the fish are beautiful in it. There is lots of crabs down on the beach. The beach has a bordwalk all the way to the beach and its very clean to be right at the beach. There is picnic tables several different places to cook out with charcoal grills. There is 2 very nice outdoor pools, one is bigger than the other. At the pools they have showers and bathrooms. There is corn hole game, and shuffle board. There is 2 swings that would be like front porch swings on the beach to swing and watch the water. There is a hammock. The rooms are very spacious, with balconies. Nice beds, very comfortable. Patio furniture on the balconies. Its located not far from most stuff. The most we drove anywhere was like 15 minutes. The whole island is 11 miles total, so doesn't take much to get most places. Airport very close.
