We loved our stay! No issues at all, everything was clean, functional, pool could use some TLC with cleaning not other then that it was great. We loved the steam sauna, jacuzzi, and we really loved the bike rentals. We will be back!

Memorial weekend stay

The property was great! My only 2 challenges were tye amount of wasp nests on our that kept us from relaxing there in the morning with coffee. The other was that i was not instructed to check-in at another area so the security didnt let me in. It wasnt until i called reservations that i had to check in off property. Besides that, everyone was very hospitable and full of smiles.

Everything was great, clean, and roomy. The secondary room did not have a full size bed plus 2 twin beds as advertised. It only had 2 twin beds. The bright orange street light out front caused the room to be as bright as daylight during the night making it impossible to sleep. We recommend to property owners to add a blackout shade to that room window as the blinds were not enough. We also hope that in the future, your no smoking policy will state that no weed should be smoked in or around the property as well as the neighbor to the left waa foung so and it smelled awful. That would definitely lower the class and family atmosphere of Hilton Head if that were to start up everywhere. I specifically come to Hilton Head as it is so clean and essentially a smoke-free island with smoke-free properties. That policy makes it a lovely and classy place to stay.

Spacious for large families

This property was able to accommodate my family of five comfortably. We stayed in a two bedroom townhouse that included two full baths, a half bath, a sleeper sofa, a full kitchen and washer/ dryer. The town home was clean and free of any insects or bugs. A local bike vendor (Wheelz) is in close proximity of the facility. My teens actually rode their bikes back to the townhouse after picking up our 2 complimentary bikes. (Please note that Wheelz will only deliver and pick up your bike if you are staying at the resort at least 3 days). The rental community is bike friendly. I estimate that the beach Is less than a 10 minute bike ride from the townhouse location. After a day at the beach it was convenient to be able to wash our beach towels and swimsuits. The television sets were about 32 inches and were not smart / internet based TVs. Publix, CVS, a smoothie shop, 5 Guys Burgers and other restaurants were a close drive (or bike ride away).

The property was perfect for those who want more space to spread out on vacation and have a more relaxed venue. The full kitchen provided us the opportunity to eat at home and even pack up snacks for the pool and the beach. It was a wonderful experience!

I loved this place. The only Issues we had was we had 4 roaches in the resort. We did find them dead in the place we stayed though. And there was no hot water in the bathroom sinks, but we had hot water everywhere else. Bathtub was amazing!

Great place to stary with family. Townhouse was newly renovated, I mean everything brand new and clean inside- kitchen, ever bathroom, laundry room. There was pool by the townhouse and we could also use huge pool with lazy river by the main club house. They gave us 2 bike rentals and we took 2 additional so we had very active vacations. You can bike around everywhere, restaurants, beach, club house and grocery. Beautiful place.

Highly recommend

Really a very good experience. As opposed to other places, they were still able to check us in timely and orderly. Excellent communication about routine matters as well as covid 19 precautions. The condo was virtually identical to another unit for which we are owners, but more economical, better communication, and way better checkin.

Very Clean Condo

Condo was very clean. Spacious, smelled clean, good size kitchen with laundry Very comfortable. Two full baths upstairs and a half bath downstairs. 90% of the condo interior and furnishings looked brand new. Cleaning crew obviously takes pride in their work. Minuses- At check-in we had to meet with the concierge regarding a time share presentation before we could proceed to the cond, which was inconvenient. During the day Saturday the carpet cleaners were working in adjoining units for at least 3 hours, and it was very loud. At checkout no one asked how our stay was or anything at all. The whole experience was a little strange.

Lots of space in this unit - we had 4 people and all were comfortable - pools were lovely. Especially liked the lazy river pool, but we had to drive there as this unit was across the street in a more secluded area away from the clubhouse. Did not like the long time we were directed to spend with concierge at check in - basically trying to get us to go to the time share presentation.

The Coral Reef is a Very Good Value

The Coral Reef Resort is located in a lovely wooded area in Shipyard Plantation. It is a multi-unit complex with a pool, hot tub and grills. The amenities are nice but not luxurious. Beach access is a bike or short car ride away. There are bathrooms and beach showers available. The interior of the unit is very nice and has everything that you'll need to enjoy your stay. The first floor includes a laundry room, kitchen, dining room, half bath, living room and shaded deck outside. The second floor has two well appointed bedrooms and bathrooms. We were very comfortable and found our stay to be quite relaxing. Overall, it represents very good value and we would stay here again.

We liked the condo at Coral Reef Resort, quiet, clean community. The bicycle are free to use while there. The only thing that we where disappointed with was the fact that the amenities at Coral Sands resort are not included if you stay at Coral Reef even though they are the same business entity. Other than that, we where satisfied with the condo.

Hilton head is an amazing place. Coral reef offers a wonderful 2 bedroom condo close to everything. We’ll maintained. Gated. Quiet. Live it here!
