Absolutely gorgeous hotel, stunningly decorated and immaculately clean. Stayed in a suite with a dreamy claw foot tub and had a lovely peaceful nights sleep.
I absolutely love it here, I stay whenever I’m back in Northern Ireland. Hillsborough is a gorgeous village, not far at all from Belfast. Arthur’s is a lovely hotel, right in the heart of town and walking distance from some great restaurants and bars. The rooms are stunning! Beautifully decorated and super comfortable. Breakfast is also great. I will always choose to stay here whenever I’m over :)
Absolutely superb service (special thanks to Jill, she was amazing!) and such a beautiful room, and bathroom. Also breakfast was really lovely. I'm so happy that I ended up in Arthur's. Hope to stay again!
This is a terrific B&B in beautiful Royal Hillsborough. The rooms were clean, modern and very tastefully designed. The breakfast was ample and delicious. We highly recommend it!

Excellent second visit and will be back. Room to a high quality and an excellent breakfast.
Lovely comfortable and quaint rooms with everything we needed. Welcome drink on arrival from the extremely friendly and helpful manager. One of the best breakfasts I've had. Lots of thoughtful extras. Quiet location with restaurants down the street. I highly recommend Arthur's.

Absolutely breathtaking town with an old church, fort, and castle. The town was simply gorgeous and we enjoyed walking around. The hotel room was luxurious and everything about this hotel would make me come back! Breakfast was delicious. Most shops and restaurants in town close very early-so plan ahead of you arrive after 8 because you will not find a restaurant open! We enjoyed our stay immensely!
A wonderful family trip. The kids loved the egg shaped bed alcove for Easter. Arthur’s is finished to an incredibly high standard. The bespoke decor was superb throughout. Beds so comfortable and quality toiletries and the rooms were spotless. A fantastic location surrounded by heritage and quality dining options. The breakfast in Arthur’s was 5 star and staff were so lovely. We would definitely return in future. I’d recommend Arthur’s in a heartbeat!
On arrival we were greeted by Jill at check in. She was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was immaculately presented and had everything we could possibly have needed .
Breakfast at Arthurs was exceptional . The best we have ever had . Again, the hospitality from Jill and other staff members at breakfast was faultless. A beautiful place that I hope to return to soon. Thankyou for a worderful stay 😊
Very nice room decorated to High standard, but self check in and no one around unless you call and emergency number. So for me the experience was very impersonal. I had an early start so did not complete the breakfast information, but was then woken up by a knock at the door at 10pm asking if I wanted breakfast.
On first impressions I was surprised that what I thought I’d booked was a hotel and had the usual expectations of a standard reception check-in.
Only when I arrived it was apparent that it’s a self check in. You had to read 1 email to find the entrance code then find another with details of what room you’ve been allocated. My email with these details went into my junk, I had to call up to sort this out. However this was done quickly.
After a long, tiring day, I could have done without it.
There’s no restaurant or bar in the hotel, so I went out. There’s lots of nice places to eat within a few minutes walk.
You can’t fault the room, it was beautiful, clean and spacious.
I also didn’t realise that you need to book your breakfast in the day before. I saw a note under my door in the morning telling me I should have done it. I went down for breakfast in the morning anyway, but there was no issue. I had a lovely breakfast in the cafe.
On reflection I should have read what the procedures were but most people don’t.
Overall it’s a lovely house and would stay again
