Excellent clean property...across the road from beach. We stayed in air con room as an upgrade. Dont stay here on a Friday night if you want an early night as there is a very noisy party...we were pre warned. Pool area is lovely.

Fint hotell med flott basseng + bakgård!

Helt ok rom, men utrolig flott bakgård. Bassenget er også supert, med flotte områder rundt. God restaurant, mange fine steder å røyke shisha eller slappe av med en øl. Mye større område enn forventet! Anbefales. Vær obs på fredagsparty, det er definitivt en stor fest som mange fra hele byen drar på. Veldig gøy, live musikk + god DJ, men kan fort høres på rommet, så om man ikke skal være med kan det være vanskelig å sovne.

Would recommend staying elsewhere ...

The hotel was OK - but the pool was murky which was did not look hygienic enough to swim in and was not cleaned during our stay, the room stank of cigarettes and male aftershave, and there was a misinterpretation at our checkin which took some time to resolve as the room we had seen advertised and booked was not what they had recorded to give us (although the guy was nice and tried his best). The worst part of the stay was a female staff member, who we assume must've been management although I hope not as she never introduced herself and was highly unprofessional and rude. Our second & last night at the hotel, she came over to us at dinner and just starting speaking AT us in an irate tone, saying she permitted us having A/C last night but cannot tonight, acting and speaking like we'd advertised her room incorrectly and it was our fault and she claimed the guy who checked us in didn't speak English (which he did). We kept trying to explain but she continued to interrupt us and wouldn't let us speak. She walked off on the phone and said no more but when we returned to our room half hour later the air-conditioning had been disconnected. There are so many places to stay in Hikkaduwa and I definitely do not recommend staying here.

Free upgrade

Booked with a deal and then got a free upgrade to a standard room when checking in as well. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms are spacious. There was no shower head or air conditioning controller in my room but it didn't prove too much of a problem. The pool area offered a nice change to the beach and offered plenty of shade. It was very quiet out of season but seemed to be geared up to be much more lively in season.

Ok option but Fridays only for party people

We stayed two nights in this hotel and the overall experience was ok but wouldn't book for the next stay. Lobby/restaurant was nice and the backyard was very big. Wifi didn't work for us. The rooms were quite plain and everything was made out of concrete. We had a budget room with no ac, only a fan. Otherwise the hotel was really calm except the Friday. It you don't like to party and stay up late do not choose this hotel because it will be loud! The party looked great though. Breakfast was ok.

Modest room on a good location

Standard rooms are really modest with own bathroom but no A/C, hot water or Wifi. The room was clean enough and close to the beach. Note the big party in the Hotel on Friday nights: don't try to beat the noice, join it.

Poor service. Rude staff. Poorly maintained rooms.

Extremely disappointed with level of service. Toilet seat was broken when asked to fix, did not fix for the whole day. Shower pressure is poor. Service was poor and staff were rude. We decided to leave. After agreeing to refund half of the money they decided not to refund anything. Poor service. Rude staff. Poorly maintained rooms. Would not ever stay here ever again.

ok standard, bra mat og bar,3 minutt til stranden

Enkle rom, men fin lokasjon, med morgen-yoga rett ved siden av, god kaffe og frokost rett over gaten, og like ved den fine delen av stranda. God mat i restaurant, og bra bar/nattklubb. Personalet veldig hjelpsomme og snakket engelsk. Man må be om vask av rom, fikk ikke alltid nye håndklær eller sengetøy, ikke alltid vann i dusj, og ikke alltid varmt vann, men vi klarte oss uten. AC fungerte bra. Lite bråk, bortsett fra nattklubb om fredagen. Vi bodde her i 13 netter, og var veldig fornøyde!
