「Great place and staff 」

「Convenient, comfortable, affordable.」

「What a gem this hotel was. It was a bit of a lucky find but glad we found it. Rooms were modern but had a rustic vibe. Room was also very spacious with a lot of room to move about. Very nice porch as well with a lovely babbling brook right outside the door. The only drawback was the 2 skylights that let in dawns light at 6am every morning, hence the 3 stars on comfort. We got used to it but it would be nice to have something set up to shade the light. We also liked easy access to extra towels...

「The Outpost Inn was such a wonderful stay in Highlands! Our room was darling, well appointed with a little sitting area, fireplace and record player including some throw back records that put us in the mood. Bed/bedding was great, good shower pressure and products. Each afternoon we would hang out in the common spaces and firepits and enjoy a glass of wine, 'smores and meeting other travelers. 「We had a beautiful suite, very comfortable bed, recently updated, very quiet beautiful setting from our balcony, in our suite we could hear our neighbors like they were in our kitchen. We were disappointed that the pools , lake, mini golf and all other outside amenities are back in town where you check in. But we loved our suite and would stay there again.」

「The whole stay was splendid. Paul is a wonderful host, a phenomenal cook, and a kind person. Our room was beautifully decorated, and the shower was a huge bonus to me. I love a piping hot shower, and detachable faucet so that I don’t have to get my hair wet or humid. Hardly any place has that! Our room did! The house has an interesting history, and I love the fragrance as you walk in. Like years of good breakfasts with bacon and coffee, nice furniture polish and books. It will be our go-to place...
