The front desk lady is very nice and kindly asked me weather the storm have delayed our arrival. The apartment is super spacious and all the amenities are available. Regarding the location of this ecolodge you definitely need a vehicle for moving around the town. There’s a big picture of a turtle on the wall hanging above the bed and I can not be very sure each and every guest is comfortable with it.

Our room was the cleanest hotel room I think I have ever stayed in. Decor is a little dated, but our family room had everything we needed and was very comfortable. I would be happy to stay there again in the future.

Our second visit to Emeraldine Inn and it did not disappoint even though there are new owners. Clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation, slightly out of town but just a short drive to shops and the beach.

This is on e of the few places to let you bring your dogs. Motel type accomodation clean and quiet with new owners. Walking path behind the premises to talk your dogs for a walk. Little bit out of town but was perfect for what we wanted. Would definitely recommend.

A few minor issues such as the bedside lamp on my preferred side not working, need to slam front door to shut and lock, ice cream melted in the freezer, stiff and noisy bathroom sliding door (which may disturb multiple guests sleeping in the room) and the bright smoke detector lights up the whole room which affected my sleep. Wish there were two lanes to safely drive in and out. Awkward to park in bay 1 with my poor turning circle. Dogs were disappointed not to be allowed on the couch or bed but otherwise had an enjoyable stay. Nice and quiet in the room with the bathroom door closed, and would visit again to try the pool and explore the nearby rail trail during the day.
