Martha at the front desk was so helpful and recommended great restaurants to try - they were fantastic. Katerina at the pool restaurant was so helpful and gregarious took care of all our culinary needs. We will definitely come back and recommend to our friends and family.

Beautiful views of the sunset from the restaurant. Pool is overlooking Malia town. There is an Old Malia town within 10 minutes walk with lots of dining options. Staff is very friendly and attentive.

The property was very nice, quiet, with pool and good breakfast. Staff very nice and helpful. Ana advised for places to visit . The hotel is close to the old city with a lot of places to eat but is far by foot from the beach and the beach road. That is of course the disadvantage of the place.

A little gem and great value

We had a last minute stay due to changes ti our travel plans, and arrived very late at night as a result. We were greeted by a friendly and helpful bar person who helped us to check in and showed us to our room. Our room was very clean, comfortable and spacious for a family of 3. We also enjoyed the terrace area (we had a larger type of room), pool area and views. Topped off by a tasty breakfast the next morning. As we were only there for a night we didnt get a chance to explore the area but couldn't fault the welcome, facilities and value for money.

We spent a week at Notos Hotel. The staff is really nice. We were supposed to get a room with "sea view" but we have a room on the ground floor with a few on the floor and people walking to the reception, not amazing because we had to close our curtains every time we were in our room. Bathroom is a bit small, gets wet sometimes the whole day after just one quick shower. Breakfast is nice, good variety but not the most amazing. Pool is nice, a bit cold, and this is not the hotel fault but very annoying to have people bursting music on speakers when you are trying to relax around the pool. Restaurant is a great alternative if you do not want to go out, very nice gyros, fast service and tasty. The location is nice as you are very close to Malia Old Town with restaurants, shops,... Car is a must to travel around, however be aware that the parking is too small for the amount of people staying which means you sometimes have to park in very rural/wild spaces with big rocks. We would go back only if we could make sure to have a room upstairs as really it was annoying to stay in the dark in your room otherwise people would always peek an eye at our room.

Peaceful location

We paid for a room with a sea view. We got a room with a view of the parking lot. The hotel reasoned that there are no sea view rooms available because those who made their reservation earlier get them. Very poor reasoning. In this case, sea view rooms should not be sold if there are none! So be prepared to pay the full price for the accommodation even if you only get part of what was promised. The hotel is located in a quiet location. It is 2 kilometers to the beach. The pool area is nice. Otherwise, I recommend booking accommodation closer to the beach. I recommend that you read the reviews before booking this accommodation. The standard of the room has not been as promised in several reviews. The cleanliness is also not the best possible.

Leider entspricht die Zimmergröße nicht den Angaben in der Hotelbeschreibung. Die Superior, Meerblick für 2 Personen gibt es nur mit 22qm, angegeben sind 30qm! Wir hatten dies gebucht und konnten kein größeres Zimmer bekommen, da es die nur für mehr Personen gibt. Dies wird aus den Zimmerdetails nicht ersichtlich. Wir hatten diese Kategorie extra wegen der Größe des Zimmers gebucht, leider war kein Wechsel möglich. Danach hatten wir gefragt aber die Antwort war, alle Zimmer sind nur so groß! Preis Leistung passt hier leider nicht🙁 Was schön war ist der Pool, der ist genau wie Beschrieben und auf den Fotos zu sehen ist.

Hébergement conforme aux photos, bel hôtel, propre, super piscine, loin du bruit de la ville et des boites de nuits. Super si vous prévoyez un séjour reposant sans quitter l’hôtel, dans le cas contraire si vous comptez faire la fête tous les soirs vaut mieux louer un quad, sinon comptez une vingtaine de minutes à pied pour rejoindre le côté festif de la ville ainsi que la plage. Le petit déjeuner n’est pas copieux mais suffisant et tous les jours le même. L’hôtel fourni des draps de bain pour bronzer à la piscine en plus des serviettes qui sont changer dans la chambre lors du ménage ce qui est top. La critique que j’ai à émettre est vis à vis du personnel, mise à part la jeune femme de l’accueil et le jeune homme au bar qui prépare les cocktails le reste du personnel est très distant et pas souriant du tout ce qui est dommage pour le standing de l’hôtel. Les femmes de ménages ainsi que la femme du petit déjeuner sont très froides, cela peut même mettre mal à l’aise, sentiments partagés avec d’autres clients de l’hôtel lors de mon séjour, et que j’avais déjà vu dans les commentaires avant mon arrivée.

Schöne große zweckmäßig eingerichtete Zimmer. Rein baulich nach kretischer Art und nicht deutscher Standard. Wir haben drüber geschmunzelt. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen auf einer Anhöhe mit Meerblick, aber trotzdem zentral und nach 10 Minuten Fußmarsch im Ort und im Geschehen. Zahlreiche Tavernen und auch Supermärkte in der Nähe. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Frühstücksauswahl vollkommen ausreichend, aber jeden Tag das gleiche, keinerlei Abwechslung. Essen a la carte ist top, geschmacklich als auch fürs Auge. Haben fast alle Speisen durchprobiert und natürlich auch aufgegessen. Der Poolbereich war sauber und gepflegt. Man wird sogar auf der Liege bedient und muss sich nicht an der Bar anstellen. Jeden Tag gibt es frische Handtücher im Zimmer und eins zusätzlich pro Person und Tag für den Pool. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Urlaub.

Das Hotel war super. Alles war sauber und das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage war ebenfalls perfekt: eine ruhige Umgebung mit einer tollen Aussicht auf die Berge und das Meer in der Ferne. Der Poolbereich war sehr angenehm, mit tollen Liegen, ideal zum Entspannen. In die Stadt gelangt man in nur etwa 15 Minuten zu Fuß. Dort erwartet einen eine Vielzahl an Restaurants, Bars und Clubs. Besonders reizvoll ist die Altstadt mit ihren verwinkelten Gassen und charmanten kleinen Restaurants, darunter viele traditionelle griechische Tavernen.

Det var väldigt fint och roligt. Frukosten var utmärkt. Utsikten var väldigt fin. Dem som jobbar i hotellet städar varje dag. Det var rent. Städerskorna städade rummen varje dag. Wifi var okej. Det funkade mest utomhus än inomhus.

Een goed hotel zwembad heel mooi heel vriendelijk geven goede info over wat je kan bezichtigen restaurant op wandel afstand heb er smiddags iets gegeten en was leker onze kamer groot en net iederen dag proper handdoeken er liggen ook handdoeken voor aan het zwembad juiste badkamer is aan vervanging toe
