「Highly recommend. I stayed at the Alia beach hotel for 10 nights. The hotel was clean and quiet. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The pool was great (needed some maintenance but I assume this is sorted over winter). All in all very good value for money. There is also an excellent beach side restaurant with good food and wonderful staff - especially Niko. I'm looking for to returning again in the spring.」

「Great location as pretty much right in the middle of the island on the north side. The breakfast was really plentiful and Greek! It was run by a family and it felt really warm. Also it was close to beaches and shops so it’s not so remote that there’s nothing to do. Our room had sea view from the L shaped balcony.」

「We enjoyed our stay at this clean and comfortable apartment with a great balcony. It is not too modern and is great value for money. It was easy to find and very close to the seafront, it has a pretty garden. The host was friendly and helpful. Milatos is a peaceful seaside village reminiscent of Crete 40 years ago, however it has choice of places to eat. We had our best meal in Crete so far at Meraklis Tavern on the waters edge, very good value」
