"Great location, apartment had everything you needed . Bed comfortable, double glazing worked great for the Friday night crowds heading to or from the Ruin Bars. We didn’t get an early check in (it’s a flat rate of 20 euros) which we requested , it’s at the hotel’s discretion, we did get late check out (15 euros an hour). Breakfast deal with eggscueme!!, was great, it’s a short walk away from the apartments, great selection of food and drinks, set us up for the day."

"When I booked I wasn’t told that the hotel was undergoing renovation. The breakfast was poor, cold scrambled egg, mini sausages floating in oil, orange juice from the machine looked like cloudy water, and all for 13 euros. I asked if I could have a kettle and was told I could rent one for 10€ per day, I told the concierge that I had one the last time I stayed, he told me the reason I didn’t get one was I booked through Expedia. I’ve used the ibis in hero Square three times now and every time it’s got worse. I go to Budapest three or four times a year it’s a lovely city but I definitely won’t be using the ibis in hero Square again. "
