"The property is new and have a lot of potential, but unfortunately sheets were dirty and towels smelled of damp. Toilet paper was not enough and they were stingy if you asked for more. Food was good, but waiters were slow and they didn’t seem to understand what their job implies (they forgot to give you glasses or cutlery unless you specifically asked for them). "The property is in outskirts of Port blair. There is no wifi available in the hotel. Also, Hotel did not recharge the TV also even after several requests. It was like completely cutoff from outside. Not a pleasant stay."

"Our second time at the Bay Leaf on our trip to the Andaman Islands. We found the BL to be a modern well run hotel and a good central location. We stayed in two types of rooms we found both to be of a good standard. Eg: comfortable beds, clean well maintained bathrooms and good AC/Fans. The rooftop restaurant /Bar is a nice place to eat dinner or enjoy a cocktail overlooking Port Blair, once again we found the level of service excellent. "Room was nice, checkin process was smooth but we had no hot water in our room for shower. We were asked to use another room for shower instead of moving us in a different room to resolve the issue. It was an odd experience."
