Friendly reception and lovely welcome. Clean quiet, comfortable and warm room. Room overlooks the outgoing estuary from the waterfall so relaxing sounds of the water.

We were greeted with a very warm welcome to the hotel. Check in took a matter of minutesm we were then shown to our room. Which was very spacious with a large bathroom.it may have been a little dated, but it added to uts charm we also had the watermill directly outside our room... Breakfast was included and made to order and they also catered for our dietary requirements.

Arrived late in the evening and found there still to be parking available - and the parking area felt very safe. Once checked in the hotel staff showed us to our room and explained where everything was in the room and where and when breakfast was served. The room was slightly dated but clean and there was tea/coffee and biscuits in the room. Staff were all lovely and we enjoyed our stay.

Lovely overnight stay

We had a lovely overnight stay. We loved how this hotel is built around an old water mill and how you are right by the overflow canal off the main canal. The staff were all extremely friendly.

Lovely property for our stay, staff were lovely especially Shawn. Only stopped here to break up my journey home. Nice Pub/restaurants just across the road in a nice location

Although this hotel is slightly outdated, could probably do with a freshern up (the reception smelt a bit musky). The receptionist was lovely and the hotel staff very friendly. The bed was suprisingly comfortable and I slept well.

The staff was very helpful the carpets was dirty the beds was uncomfortable the mattresses where like sitting on a waterbed kettle was broken overall this hotel needs a good revamp i wouldn't stay here again we stayed in best western a few times this was the worst hotel would not recommend

The hotel itself could do with some upgrading, rooms need a mini fridge and bar doesnt offer rhe widest drink selection, but there is a pub across the road to make up for this. The staff couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming and this definitely added to what was overall a very pleasant place to stay for one night.
