It was a very nice stay and the hotel was perfect for our family. only issues we found were the restricted parking hours, loud train outside our window and the showers drain was not fully functioning. but those were small issues for us. we really enjoyed our 4-night stay. the staff was kind and the breakfast was okay. we had a balcony which was a pleasant surprise.

Hotel sent me code for entry which was very convenient. Room was large with bedding for 3 persons. Breakfast was nice. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. If looking for new and modern this isn’t your best choice. But if looking for older with character in the heart of the community and friendly staff (and clean) Hotel Skandia is a great choice.

Nice helpful staff, great breakfast and very convenient location. On the first floor facing the station so some tram noise as they sounded a horn. Had thought we’d be in the fourth floor. Only here one night so it didn’t matter too much.

This was an absolutely charming hotel. I can’t think of one thing wrong with it. Great room for the value. The staff was lovely and friendly, and the front desk woman (owner?)!helped us with some information about the town and things we wanted to do in the area. The room is spacious and very clean and the breakfast was yummy! Will come again. Thank you!

If you stay here, ask for a quiet room away from main street. Many rooms overlook main road thru town which was very noisy all night. Delivery truck arrived and banged around at 3 am. Noise finally settled down about 4 am. Room was very warm - no AC, even tho temps were in mid 50’s F outside at night. Open the window to cool - ups - increases street noise. Unable to sleep. Hotel has car parking, but full when we arrived, so parked in nearby parking lot
