"Staff were great, Rooms were great, bar was really nice, although spirits were very expensive, only disappointment is the roof top pool was much smaller than we expected."

"Hotel is conveniently located at walking distance from old town (around 10 minutes). Parking is a block away and they also have parking at basement though is more expensive to park in the hotel. They have a restaurant but options for lunch or dinner are very limited and they have only 1 staff serving. Breakfast is better with many options. We ate something the night we arrived and also had breakfast the following day. We traveled with kids and they are in that age they are picky eaters so we ended up having breakfast outside the hotel the 2nd day. It was cheaper to eat breakfast outside. Rooms are spacious, clean, and some have small stairs inside. The reception is in the 2nd level which was weird but ok. Ground level has a bike rental parked inside, a lobby and elevators. We enjoyed our stay and liked the hotel."

"Amazing breakfast buffet with a combination of local foods and other typical foods from many areas. Clean, beautiful rooms. Loved the location. Staff was very helpful, especially the visitors desk who made great recommendations and a reservation for us."

"Lovely hotel. Very easy to travel around Bilbao on the metro. The metro station is a very short walk from the hotel and only 1 stop to the old town. Hotel pool was a great plus after hot day of tourism. My only criticism would be that there weren't enough beds and umbrellas in the pool area. A few chairs would be great too."

"We stayed in the Petit Palace as a base for exploring Bilbao and the region and very pleased with the choice. The location is fantastic, on the edge of the old town. There is a train/metro station a couple of minutes away and it's a pleasant 25 minute riverside stroll to the Guggenheim. The building is old but the rooms have been well modernised with very good bathroom/shower. The staff are all helpful and friendly, we had the daily breakfast which was a good way to start the day. Our room faced the road but noise wasn't an issue and we even had a small balcony. For a city break base would definitely recommend."

"We had an amazing time (two adults and a teenager). The hotel's location is perfect for lounging by the pool, walking to the beach, and walking into the main town every night to find bars and restaurants. The local neighbourhood is good for local facilities like bakeries and pharmacies. Access to the gym and indoor pool is misleading; this is an additional cost, but the facilities are excellent. Breakfast is superb if this is important to you. The room was kept spotless by the housekeeping staff. No soap in the toilets by the pools was really disappointing for a hotel of this standing. We'll be going back."

"Iconic hotel on La Concha beach. Can't beat the location! Staff is amazing. Breakfast buffet so yummy, although not inexpensive. The restaurant and bar staff on point. Front desk team helpful. Concierge, while a lovely person, gave a few recommendations that were "duds." The hotel is "older" and we had some issues with our air conditioning maintenance responded changed filters, but it never got to a temperature that was cool enough for us; but it was also a heatwave, so I assume the system was stressed out. We had an ocean view which was amazing although the room itself was smaller than expected. Large bathroom! Overall, great stay!"
