Ideal for a visit to the area, lovely location and staff. No restaurant in the evening but they have frozen meals you can buy - unfortunately they don't advertise this on their website and info so we had no idea it was an option on our late arrival which would have been really useful to know and avoided some stress around finding food.
Good hotel. Located in a quiet place. Room is clean and has all necessary facilities. This hotel doesn’t have elevator, therefore people with accessibility issues had better not stay here.
Singe beds, no option. 1 chair comfortable inside the room (+ desk chair), you have to bring a second chair in from the balcony, (usually wet or dirty). No ice available. Noisy young soccer players running through the halls at night. Dogs allowed in rooms, so you hear barking and have to pass guests with dogs in the hallways. (one vicious, owner said it doesn't like people!). But in a nice area for walks and close to the town centre. One of the receptionist was very helpful with printing emailed tickets for us.
We arrived after a 7 and a half hour drive. The young man on reception was very polite and attentive. In our room, I realised that the bedding and pillows were feathers, which I have an extreme allergy to. My wife talked to him and within minutes, knocked on our door with complete new polyester (I assume) quilts and pillows. The next morning, we have been dealt with a very nice young lady and man. The location was perfect. Hidden away in a small wooded area, and still only 10 minutes walk to Heemskerk town centre, where there were plenty of restaurants and bars. We have decided that whenever we are in the Amsterdam area, we will certainly book to stay here.
Loveley stay , staff excellent . Shame no restaurant. Breakfast was good. Pet enjoyed , ample walks ( He is old and needs out every 2-3 hours!.,- EASY NO FUSS . Parking good - easy access excellent. Room warm and clean U.K. TV! - bonus! Had to request more pillow . this was done no problem - Originals were extreme sof /hard EXTRAS supplied no problems and slept very well.
The environment is quiet and green, staff are nice, room is very clean. Great!

The hotel is overall okay for the price, but there are a few things to be aware of.
The rooms are a bit outdated and could be cleaner – there was some dust, and the bathroom door paint is peeling. The walls are quite thin, so it can get noisy. Especially in the afternoons when tour buses arrive, it becomes quite loud and sometimes continues into the night, which affects the overall calm atmosphere.
On the positive side, the parking is a big advantage – it’s included, located directly in front of the rooms, and monitored by cameras, which makes it feel safe. The hotel is also located in a quiet, forest-like area, which is nice. There are shops and a city center nearby.
There is no restaurant in the hotel, but you can easily order food like pizza. We didn’t end up taking the train to Amsterdam because getting to the station requires a bus and the total cost for multiple people becomes quite expensive.
Overall, for the price, it’s acceptable, but there is definitely room for improvement. I recomend
Super friendly staff. A great location for exploring the area around Amsterdam. We stayed in the suite which has some great features. We can’t wait to stay here again
