We had a wonderful experience at Montage Healdsburg! The staff were all friendly and helpful, everyone was so nice and accommodating. our room was lovely with a beautiful view. There was a lovely vibe, all the buildings were designed to fit in with terrain and landscaping, so they didn't detract from the beautiful views of the vineyards and rolling hills, and the live oak trees. The spa was lovely - attentive staff, amazing massage! It was great to have the restaurant, Hazel Hill, as well as the bar/lounge, and "general store" coffee shop. Very convenient and delicious food. Enjoyed riding the e-bikes, and walking the grounds. All in all, we had a wonderful experience!

Wholesome experience!

We came here to celebrate my husband's birthday, and I must say it was such a wholesome experience. They have beautiful rooms with amazing views, a wonderful campus, and super delicious food. I took the concierge's help to arrange a surprise cake, champagne, etc., for the room, making our experience even more memorable. We also did biking and archery, which was part of the campus. It's also a kid-friendly hotel. We would definitely come back again.

Stunning but slow service

Super slow service but immaculate grounds. It’s dog and child friendly, which is such a relief, but we struggled to find a trash can anywhere on the property except for at the lobby. Would stay here again with the expectation that things will take much longer to get to you. Also surprised they only offer valet parking (didn’t see self parking anywhere) but it comes at a surcharge. They don’t tell you this but add $42 per day to your bill at checkout.

Montage Healdsburg was amazing! Came here for a girls trip and it was such a beautiful property. The room was clean and spacious along with amazing housekeeping and nightly turn-down service. Spa was great as well. Lisa as my masseuse and she was so thorough and welcoming with my spa services. Hazel Hill was delicious. The town was quaint and had amazing shopping from locally owned boutiques. Plus, Montage will take you to the Plaza and pick you up. Our flight was delayed and the concierge handled our transportation services and were able to extend our checkout, which was beyond convenient and helpful. A few shoutouts….thank you so much to these people that made things extra special… Nicte Archie Travis Jake Hailey Matthew (Hazel Hill) Andrea Chantel Also, literally everyone we came into contact with, was helpful, kind, engaging, and overall so accommodating. The Montage is such a stunning and blissful place to stay in wine country! The service and people were always very nice. Upon arrival, they greeted us with a "splash" of welcome wine and drove us to our room via golf cart. The rooms are beautifully appointed...ours had a vineyard view with a fire pit on the patio to enjoy the gorgeous wine country sunsets! The resort has great amenities, including free use of e-bikes (2 hrs each day, then you pay $30/bike/hr beyond that). The gentleman who loaned us the bikes was very helpful and directed us to a lovely ride up Dry Creek, this was a highlight of our trip. We also had the opportunity to dine at Hazel Hill, which was very good. The views of the property from the patio at the restaurant are lovely. Literally the only issue we encountered was pretty consistent long waits at valet to grab our car, despite requesting via text in advance. The team was always super friendly and apologetic, but something seems like it's not quite humming with their process. The property is also a haven for wildlife, with birds, foxes, owls, deer and turkeys (heard them every morning) wandering around. We even had a baby deer literally lounging next to our window every day! We had a magical trip and would highly recommend the Montage!

Property itself is fantastic, especially the pool and rooms. However, the restaurant is….really not good. We’ve been to this property twice and we disappointed both times in the restaurant. Someone in our party ordered something for dinner that had a very bad, chemical-y taste. Such a shame, as a good restaurant would elevate this to one of the best places to stay in wine country.
